Honestly, who among you has not at least once in your life looked over someone's shoulder on the bus or subway and watched what the person in question was doing on their iPhone? I admit that I look here and there, but at the same time, it makes me uncomfortable when someone does this to me.
That's why I was happy to test the PureGear HD Ultra-Clear Privacy protective glass, which is a classic tempered protective glass for iPhones, but thanks to a special technology, it ensures that you can't see the screen of your phone from any other than a direct angle.
At first I was worried that PureGear's "Private Glass" would also affect my own view of the display, as the glass is very dark. Fortunately, the worries were unnecessary. When looking directly at the display, the display is very well visible, just as if you had a different or no protective glass on it. The effect really comes only when observed from a different angle.
In addition to this effect, PureGear HD Ultra-Clear Privacy also serves to protect the display, however, unlike some other glasses, this does not extend to the edges of the iPhone, but only covers the display itself and has a cut-out on the upper lens with the speaker and on the bottom for Touch ID.
However, the plus is the application of glass, which is excellently thought out by the PureGear company. In the package you will also find an installation package containing a base with a bed. Thanks to this, all you have to do is clean the display properly with the included cloth, put it in the bed and stick the protective glass. It won't happen that you glue the glass crookedly or that you don't like air bubbles during application.
Although the glass is 0,8 millimeters thick, everything works perfectly in practice. The response is the same as without glass, and you really can't see the contents of the display from the side. The only downside is the black color of the glass, which fits black iPhones, but it doesn't look so good on white ones.
