In recent years, it has become a kind of tradition that the world knew about practically all the news that Apple was preparing for users before their official launch, thanks to, or perhaps rather because of, leaks. Those were then largely taken care of by the Apple employees themselves, who either "directly" or released them into the air through someone. However, the recent story of a well-known leaker going by the name @analyst941 on social media may – and likely will – put a major stop to the leaks.

The leaker, who supplied the world with new information about Apple products fairly regularly in recent months, suddenly withdrew from social networks a few dozen hours ago. After a few hours, he posted on the discussion forum of one of Apple's websites that the Californian giant had tracked him down and now expects to take legal action against him. However, if you expected that the tracking took place in some sophisticated form, you are wrong - Apple just used a simple trick. And that is the biggest problem in the end. According to the leaker, it was enough for Apple to spread the false information among the employees who were singled out as risky in terms of information leakage, so that everyone knew its specific wording. Then it was just a matter of waiting for the specific wording to come out and the trap closed. So it is an extremely simple method, but on the other hand it is very reliable and can detect the leaker very easily. In addition, it should not be a problem for Apple to implement it on a large scale in order to sweep away the leaks and at the same time create a certain degree of fear among employees that would discourage them from disseminating information.

The paradox of the whole situation is that if Apple manages to "set" its employees and partners so that they do not leak information, in the future the whole situation could have a positive effect on ordinary apple users. If we ignore the fact that they will be much more surprised by the news in September, we could expect, for example, that a much larger number of various accessories will arrive together with the new iPhones. Why? Simply because Apple will no longer have to be so afraid of leaking some of that information to manufacturers who would use it - of course without any leaks - to develop accessories. But of course everything is still music of the future and it cannot be ruled out that the imaginary death of leaker analyst941 will be just one of many in the leaker world and the leak machinery will continue to run full steam ahead.
