However, in addition to transporting people, it also started offering food delivery, thanks to an additional service Uber Eats, which has its own app. You log into it using your Uber account, so no additional registration is required. However, when you start the service, the address will be verified and you can set whether you want delivery directly to your door or pick up the food at your car. You can also add various notes, such as whether it is an office building or a school. You can also pre-select when your food should arrive. The application is currently only available in Prague.

It's not exactly the healthiest food, but if you're a fan of damn good chicken, then know that you don't have to go for the food, but you can order it thanks to the KFC CZ mobile application. You can then choose from a practically complete fast food menu with the option of delivery within 30 minutes of order confirmation. Unlike McDonald's, they therefore do not rely on the aforementioned UberEats or DámeJídlo services.

After the departure of the Foodpanda platform, the DajmeJedlo.sk service was maintained in Slovakia for some time, which later changed and is now known as Bistro.sk. Today, this platform covers delivery from more than 1 restaurants in the vast majority of major cities. There are also Košice, Žilina, Prešov, Trnava, Nitra, Trenčín or Banská Bystrica. For more convenient use, it is recommended to have a profile created (Facebook is enough) and location services enabled so that the service knows how to find the most relevant restaurants and fast foods in your area.
The advantage is that, thanks to the support of restaurants, you are not only limited to dishes such as pizza, fries or kebabs, but you can also order, for example, beef stew with dumplings, chicken cutlets with mash or Turkish lentils at the right time and provided that these dishes are available soup. For each of the available restaurants, you can see user reviews, the menu (including the possibility of editing) and an overview of the lunch menus for the coming days. There is also an import price or a minimum amount for which you can order food from the given establishment.
However, I know from my own experience that the delivery time may not always be updated on the website, and it has happened to me several times that while the delivery time was 45 minutes in the application, it was 75 in the incoming SMS, i.e. half an hour more.

The Finnish startup has also found its place on our market, and it is especially revolutionary in that, in addition to delivery, it also allows you to make a reservation for a table or meal directly in the establishment, where you just come and eat what you ordered. Payment is made in advance, so you can then surprise your friends on the spot by "leaving without paying". You can use the application even without registration, which can be taken as an advantage. But you can also log in using Facebook or a dedicated profile.
What makes Wolt significantly different from other solutions is the level of processing of the application, which seems to me almost like a social platform. The application is really advanced, restaurants are divided into different categories, there are user reviews including a score from 0 to 10, the option of navigation, opening hours or an overview of nearby restaurants with the possibility of personal food pickup.
As part of promotions, Wolt also allows you to invite other users for various bonuses. For example, if you now invite a friend to the application in Slovakia, they will register and place their first order, receive a €5 discount and a €5 credit will be added to you. The main Discovery section also includes an elegantly placed blog, which also serves as a place for the most important information about the service.
