Microsoft has not denied its business spirit. It develops not only for its own Windows Phone operating system, but also for the once derided and now competing iOS. Three new applications from the Redmond developers' workshop appeared in the App Store in recent days - SkyDrive, Kinectimals and OneNote for iPad.

SkyDrive

First, we'll take a look at the SkyDrive application, which was released on December 13 and is available free. Anyone familiar with Microsoft services knows that SkyDrive is a cloud storage where you can sign in if you already have an account on Hotmail, Messenger or Xbox Live, but you can also of course create a brand new account on SkyDrive.com.

You can store any content on SkyDrive and then view it from anywhere you have an internet connection. And now also from the iPhone. You can upload photos and videos, create and delete folders and, of course, view already uploaded documents directly from your Apple phone via the official application.

kinectimals

The first game from Microsoft's workshop also appeared in the App Store. The popular Xbox 360 game is coming to iPhones, iPod touch and iPads kinectimals. If you play Kinectimals on a game console from Microsoft, you have the option to unlock five more animals in the iOS version.

The game is about the animals. In Kinectimals, you are on the island of Lemuria and you have your own virtual pet to take care of, feed and play with. On iOS devices, the popular game should bring a similar gaming experience as on Xbox, especially in terms of graphics.

OneNote for iPad

Although OneNote has been in the App Store since the beginning of the year, it wasn't until version 1.3 released on December 12 that it also brought a version for the iPad. OneNote for iPad is available for free, but is limited to 500 notes. If you want to create more notes, you have to pay less than 15 dollars.

So, as you may have already guessed, OneNote for iPad is an application for capturing all possible notes, ideas and tasks that we come across. OneNote can create text and image notes, can search in them, and there is also the option of creating a to-do sheet with ticking off tasks. Additionally, if you use SkyDrive, you can sync your notes with other devices.

You must have at least a Windows Live ID to use OneNote. It is also available in the App Store iPhone version OneNote with the same limitation of 500 notes, but the update to the unlimited version costs ten dollars less.
