Apple Watch Series 7 pre-sale started on Friday, and they will officially go on sale on Friday, October 15. Except for their biggest news, i.e. an enlarged case together with a larger display, Apple also declares faster charging.

Apple specifically mentions that it has redesigned their entire charging system so that the watch can jump into action even faster. So he updated their charging architecture and included a quick-charging USB-C cable in the package. They state that you can charge them from zero to 80% of their battery capacity in 45 minutes. In the case of previous generations, you reached this value in about an hour of charging.

For better sleep tracking

But that's not the only thing. The company knows that we want to track our sleep with its watch. But most users charge their electronic devices overnight. However, with the Apple Watch Series 7, you will only need 8 minutes of charging for 8 hours of sleep monitoring. So no matter how much you charge them in the evening, before you go to sleep, you only need to connect them to the charger for a moment like this.

These numbers are based on testing a pre-production model of the watch that was attached to the company's new magnetic fast-charging USB-C cable and 20W USB-C power adapter. And that is precisely the condition for achieving the mentioned values. The company mentions that the novelty charges 6% faster than the Series 30. But during her test, she only charged the older generation with a magnetic charging cable and a 5W charging adapter.

If you then think that the new cable in connection with the older generation of watches will help you achieve the same values, we have to disappoint you. Apple itself draws attention to the fact that fast charging is only compatible with the Apple Watch Series 7. Other models will therefore continue to charge at normal speed. The larger display of the new product also consumes more power, but the watch still managed to last 18 hours. So even this generation will keep up with you throughout the day.
