This is probably how the magazine got to the fourth generation Apple TV iFixit and completely her disassembled.
Usually, Apple products cannot be repaired at home and require professional service, but this is not the case with the new Apple TV. Dissection iFixit she showed that it's not at all difficult to get inside a small box with only a few plastic clips in the way. No screws or glue, which prevent easy disassembly, for example, with iPhones and iPads.
There aren't too many components inside the Apple TV. Under the motherboard, on which we can find, for example, a 64-bit A8 chip and 2 GB of RAM, only cooling and a power supply are hidden. In addition, it is not connected to the motherboard by any cables and according to the technicians iFixit energy is thus transmitted through the screw sockets.
The glue was only used on the Siri Remote, but it's still not difficult to peel it off. The battery and Lightning cable are soldered together here, but for nothing else, so the insides of the controller should also be easily and inexpensively replaced.
iFixit rated the fourth-generation Apple TV eight out of ten on a scale where 10 represents the easiest repairability. This is the best result for an Apple product in recent years.
