The more products, the more operating systems. The more any software, the more work and errors that can occur in them. Maybe you have encountered many of them and you are waiting for Apple to fix them. But instead, only security patches come, which are nice, but don't solve your problem. Does Apple care only about security and the functionality of systems as such?
Next week, it will be a full month since Apple released the sharp public versions of its iOS 17, iPadOS 17 and watchOS 10 systems. It was with the last mentioned system that there was also a bug related to the weather in the complication on the watch face, which simply and simply does not work like that , as it should. It doesn't matter in the end how many users use this. It is a function of the system and the application of the company, when both fall on its shoulders, and it should take care of the correction. But the fix is still nowhere, and according to the watchOS 10.1 beta, it doesn't look like this update will fix it.
In recent years, many users have been calling for Apple to stop adding new features to its systems and focus more on optimizing them. To some extent, this happens because even though there are still some new systems coming out, there are fewer and fewer of them. The question, however, is whether there is nothing left to invent and how much more the system would rise, or whether Apple is really trying to make its iPhones, iPads, Apple Watch and indeed Mac computers as reliable as possible.
But it will be a long road. Although Apple provides its systems for beta testing not only to developers but also to the general public, many problems still make it into the final build. And what about the current iOS 17 bugs? You can find the list of selected ones below:
- iOS 17.0.1/17.0.2/17.0.3: Battery draining too fast
- iOS 17 and iOS 17.0.2: Wi-Fi issues
- iOS 17: Signal strength indicator disappears
- iOS 17: Only black screen is displayed instead of wallpaper
- iOS 17: Missing widget data from apps: Wallet, Apple Music, Mail, Weather, Fitness
- iOS 17: Delayed keyboard response and keys not working properly
- iOS 17: iPhone display has pink tint after update
Are you also experiencing any bugs in Apple's new systems? Tell us in the comments.
Then I didn't notice any of the bugs you mentioned.
I don't know why, but a lot of people do different things with their phones, and then I watch them.
I use iPhone as a player, communicator, navigation, camera and these things do not happen to me. I have dev betas and every now and then a bug appears, but in the next version it's fine.
I do not record them in the financial versions.
On the other hand, if we were to look at Android manufacturers, 90% of the time these fixes are never made. The phone will die with the droid version it was purchased with.
But they happen! After installing iOS 17.0.3, my Wallet didn't work - it didn't show up at all. Only turning the phone off and on again after about 2 minutes helped.
Night shutdown/restart phone…
