Popular fintech startup Revolut should soon offer support for Apple Pay. Many clues indicate this, and one of them is the information on the service's official Twitter. For domestic users, this would mean that they would finally be able to fully and profitably use Apple Pay in Czech crowns. Revolut officially entered the Czech market a few months ago.

Speculation about Revolut's imminent support for Apple Pay swirled after Sunday's publication tweet, which beckoned for the presentation of a big news in just three days. However, as it turned out later, these are metal payment cards for premium users. But Revolut in the responses to user reactions confirmed, that it will indeed offer Apple Pay, while it is currently working hard to add support. Not long ago, the service announced cooperation with Google Pay, the functionality of which is currently in the testing phase.

Apple itself indicates that Revolut will indeed offer Apple Pay. Specifically on their own official website for France, he added Revolut as another institution that will soon offer the Apple payment service. It is the confirmation by Apple that gives great hope to Czech users who have been waiting for Apple Pay for several years. Thanks to Revolut, it would be possible to pay with an iPhone and Apple Watch in our market and thus avoid the disadvantageous conversion of currencies to Euros or British pounds when using Boon. Provided, of course, that service support will not be regionally limited in any way. We detailed more about how Apple Pay works in the article We tried Apple Pay. The launch in the Czech Republic could happen in a month.
