At the end of last year, her name was mentioned in some games of the year debates. Although Huntdown from the developer studio Easy Trigger Games did not succeed in similar conversations in the end, we can attribute this to its less attractiveness for the mainstream player rather than to its indisputable qualities. The retro shooter, strongly inspired by the best 80s genre games led by the legendary Contra, managed to take players' breath away on almost all possible platforms, except for macOS. But that is finally changing with its release on Apple computers.

Those who know, for example, the aforementioned Contra, or perhaps other classics like Metal Slug, will surely know where the wind blows from when looking at the images from the game. Before shooting in first person, it was natural for us to take out various enemies from the side view. Such games have graced the decorated cases of slot machines, and Huntdown offers the best of the now half-forgotten genre. First of all, it's frenetic gameplay that won't let you rest. In a futuristic world where the streets are ruled by gangs of criminals, anyone will be after you. As one of the mercenary hunters, you will be able to add one friend to your hand in cooperative mode.

Alone or together, you can set out to train criminals in the shoes of one of the three available characters. You can choose between the special forces member Anna, the corrupt police officer John and the illegally modified android Mow Man. Each of them offers unique abilities, but you'll enjoy the frenetic shooting and dodging of enemy bullets no matter which one you play as.
