Apple picker Press Release: After a successful year, Rentalit opens its own brick-and-mortar store in Rustonka. Although it may seem that today's time is more in favor of online sales, standard contact with customers must not be forgotten. This is also extremely important for Rentalit.
Mark Rentalit entered the Czech market already in March 2020. It offered clients from small and medium-sized companies and self-employed persons the opportunity to purchase high-quality laptops, PCs, phones and tablets without the need for a large investment or debt, while hundreds of clients used this opportunity, whom Rentalit helped to finance more than 1 devices with a total value of almost 000 million crowns. At the end of last year, this startup became part of the J&T Leasing company, thus adding to the portfolio of the company, which has been engaged in operational leasing since 30, with a focus on corporations and state institutions.
Opening own brick-and-mortar stores is the next phase that will bring Rentalit's services even closer to small and medium-sized entrepreneurs who prefer personal negotiations. It will have an address on Rustonka in Prague, which is very easily accessible both by public transport and by car. "Personal contact is irreplaceable, and more and more clients come to conclude the contract in person. After a long period of social isolation, our clients directly welcome the opportunity to stop by the customer center. In the comfortable client zone, the visitor not only negotiates a contract, but also directly picks up the selected device and buys accessories for it, such as covers and packaging," explains Petra Jelínková, CEO of the company.
But the opening of the store is not the only news. Other relatively interesting changes are also on the way. Customer demand shows an interest in furnishing offices and meeting rooms. Clients often lack smart screens and projectors, which is why the portfolio of devices that Rentalit offers will soon expand.
Small and medium-sized companies welcome the possibility of operational leasing
Small and medium-sized companies usually purchase several devices at once and at the same time have to manage their cashflow, so it is for them the possibility of operational leasing very interesting from the beginning. The service is also of fundamental importance to them, when in the event of a broken computer or laptop, they receive a replacement device before theirs is repaired. In addition, the leasing price also includes insurance against damage and theft and warranty service.
Another group of clients are entrepreneurs - but they are usually more hesitant and have yet to get used to the concept of not owning the device. Well, mostly operational leasing services will try it on one device first. "When they find out that the phone works exactly the same as if it were theirs, and yet they can only pay 900 crowns a month, they often come to negotiate a contract for other equipment as well," says Petra Jelínková.
"A frequent question when negotiating a service is the possibility of early termination of the contract. At Rentalit, we set the conditions very favorably. The contract can be terminated without any penalties after half of the period for which the contract was agreed. The customer therefore only pays the administrative fee for processing the request," adds Petra Jelínková.
Customers will be brought by the partner network
Initially Rentalit functioned as an e-shop, which proved to be particularly useful during the pandemic. Subsequently, however, a partner network began to be built, which includes wholesalers, small e-shops, IT management companies and hardware and software stores. They work through the completely new portal RentalitPro.cz.
The partner is usually the one who advises and recommends which devices they should purchase. He knows their needs and financial possibilities. Our goal is for these partners to offer their clients operational leasing as well," says Petra Jelínková. By the end of the year, Rentalit plans to conclude approximately ten partnerships.
The brand will also operate in the new Karlín store Rebuild, which targets customers who want to purchase quality and powerful equipment for playing computer games.
A brick-and-mortar branch of Rentalit
The Rentalit brick branch is located at Rustonka office park, namely Building R2, Rohanské nábř. 693/10, 186 00 Prague 8 – Karlín (Rustonka campus). They are then open every weekday from 9:00 a.m. to 16:30 p.m.
