Last weekend was marked by the first days that the new iPhones got into the hands of the first owners. This meant that many different tests appeared on the web. Below you can see a very thorough durability test by YouTube channel JerryRigEverything

Earlier this week, Apple launched a marketing campaign that showed us, among other things, 8 reasons why we will love the new iPhone 8 and why we should really get one.

Gradually, more detailed information about the new models began to be revealed. For example, it turned out that repairing the back glass of the iPhone 8 is significantly more expensive than breaking the screen and having it replaced.

With a week's delay compared to iOS, watchOS and tvOS, a computer operating system was also released, which this time is called macOS High Sierra (codenamed macOS 10.13.0).

Tuesday evening marked exactly one week since Apple made iOS 11 available to all users. Based on this, a statistic was released that measured how the new version of iOS performs in the number of installs in the first week. It has not surpassed the previous version, but it is no longer such a tragedy as it was in the first hours.

Later in the week, information appeared from a foreign report that took issue with how much Apple will pay for the production of new phones. This is purely the price of the components, which does not include production as such, costs of development, marketing, etc. Even so, it is interesting data.

As the new iPhones reached more and more users, the first problems also began to appear. A considerable number of owners began to complain about the presence of strange sounds that come from the telephone receiver during a call.

On Wednesday, news broke about the availability of the long-awaited iPhone X, which has been awaited by a significant number of users who have decided to ignore the iPhone 8 this year. It seems that availability will be a big deal, and many customers will simply not get it .

Speaking of the iPhone X, the new iOS 11.1 beta has shown what the home screen will look like on this phone, or how some gestures will work to replace the missing Home Button.

Yesterday, last but not least, we wrote about the document that Apple released during the week, which answers many questions related to the operation of Touch ID. The original six-page document is a really interesting read, and if you're interested in the new Face ID, you'll find a lot of information here.
