In today's review, we look at the Swissten Active Bluetooth sports headphones, which are dedicated to people with an active lifestyle. But that doesn't mean you can't use them at home, too. I have been testing the Swissten Active headphones for a few days now and I must say that they are really great for sports. However, we will talk about more details later. But let's refrain from the initial formalities and let's look at the specifications of the headphones. You are interested in comparison of the best headphones? Portal chytryvyber.cz he prepared it for you.
Official specification
The Swissten Active headphones are small, minimalist, and at first glance you will be attracted by their "shark fin". This piece of rubber is used to keep the headphones from falling out of your ears during sports activities of all kinds, which is also helped by the "in-ear" plug design. Swissten Active support Bluetooth 4.2 and are able to work up to ten meters from the music source. There are 10 mm drivers inside the headphones, the frequency range is then classically 20 Hz to 20 KHz and the impedance is 16 ohms. Inside the headphones there is a lithium battery with a capacity of 85 mAh, thanks to which the headphones can keep supplying your ears with music for almost five hours. You charge the battery with a classic microUSB cable, which you plug into the multifunction controller on the connecting cable. You can of course use this controller to control volumes, skip tracks and more. The headphones also have a microphone, thanks to which you can easily answer incoming calls. Swissten Active are available in three color variants – black, red and lime.
Packing
If you've ever bought something from Swissten, you know that most of the company's products are packaged in white blisters with black and red branding. This is no different in this case. Headphones are depicted on the front of the box, on the back you will find a transparent window into the box. Of course, all the specifications and information that we have already presented in the previous paragraph are also found here. On one of the sides of the box there is also a simple manual that describes the basic functions of the multifunction controller. In the box itself, outside of the headphones, there is a microUSB charging cable and a pair of spare plugs that you can change on the headphones depending on the size of your ears. The good news is that you don't have to buy replacement plugs separately. You just have to be careful not to lose them.
Processing
The workmanship of the headphones corresponds to their price, which is not even 500 crowns. So don't expect all kinds of premium materials. Swissten Active are made of high-quality plastic and, of course, rubber parts. Of course, I don't mean that these are poorly made headphones, not by chance. The multifunctional controller has three buttons, thanks to which you can skip and pause songs, change the volume, or answer calls. But there is also a charging microUSB port covered by a rubber cap. The last part is two diodes that inform you, for example, about a flat battery and charging.
Personal experience
When I recently took the headphones on a run of several kilometers, I was pleasantly surprised by their sound quality. I listen to energetic and positive music while running, which Swissten Active handles perfectly. You don't have a chance to notice the sound distortion at normal volume, but at higher volume you will already feel it. The headphones also handle the bass perfectly, and considering the price of the headphones, I have to say that you would probably be hard pressed to find better headphones in this price range. The battery lasted me a little over four hours, which completely corresponds to the information given by the manufacturer.
When running, various shocks occur, due to which headphones, especially AirPods, tend to fall out of the ears. However, the earplugs will guarantee that your headphones will hold perfectly, and in addition, the rubber "shark fins" will also help to support the earplugs. At the same time, I also perceive the advantage of earplugs in that the wind does not get into your ears. This will prevent an unpleasant feeling while running and you will also be 100% sure that you will only hear the music and not the surrounding noise. But you have to be careful. Since you practically cannot hear the surrounding sounds, you have to be alert at every step. Personally, I like to run on dirt roads, so I don't run into danger in the form of passing cars, but this is not the case for townspeople.
záver
If you are looking for great headphones for your sports activities at a low price, then you have just found a gold mine. Swissten Actives are really great, they play very well and they don't even suck up all your spending when you buy them. It can play for less than five hours on a single charge, fits perfectly in your ears and, together with the multifunctional controller with a microphone, you are sure that you will be able to answer incoming calls without any problems. Personally, I can only recommend these headphones.

How can you recommend headphones that don't support the AAC codec on an Apple-centric site? It will automatically convert to SBC codec, and believe me, even the likes will recognize the difference. ☹️
I needed decent headphones for sports, where I wouldn't have to worry about accidentally destroying them, and also for bed, where it's good to have BT and not get tangled in wires - and at the same time, where you don't have to yell at SIRI to lower/increase the volume :) I risked it – for 450 CZK it was not a big risk :) I was expecting horror, barely able to make a phone call. (I read the reviews just here too, e.g. about the probable absence of the AAC codec and unlistenable output, that discouraged me and I was willing to pay a much larger amount, but I still gave them a chance to eventually throw them away :) But they were very surprising! They reproduce very well, for this price they are excellent. Finally, for the sake of interest, I compared them with much (10x) more expensive ones and I have to admit that the Swissten Active have a balanced presentation, no frequency is significantly dampened. There is some difference, but it is not abysmal. The listening experience is very good. I tried different genres in AAC, I sent a BT signal to them with the iphone 11PRO and with SE 1gen - both are fine, it is not explicitly stated anywhere whether they support AAC, but it seems that they do. I didn't notice audio-video lag either. Functionality also without problems - it connects immediately, control of songs and volume at 1*. So for listening to music while playing sports, talking on the phone, watching a video before bed, or just like that, they are great. Of course, audiophiles will look at a different price range and want nothing to do with BT transmission at all. The rest of us will be satisfied with the Swissten Active for regular listening :)
