Swissten Bone Conduction headphones are packed in a classic white-red box, which is iconic for Swissten products. On the front of this box you will find the headphones themselves pictured, along with basic information and branding. On one of the sides you will find the official specifications and on the back you can see the Swissten Bone Conduction headphones in action during exercise. At the same time, there is also a picture on the back that shows how sound is transmitted through the cheekbones. If you open the box, you just need to pull out the paper carrying case, which contains the headphones themselves, together with the charging USB-C cable. Of course, there is also an instruction manual in the package.

When I first took the reviewed headphones in my hands, I was surprised by their weight, which is really low - as already mentioned above, the Swissten Bone Conduction weighs only 16 grams. The headphones are made entirely of plastic, which in our case is black, but you can also purchase a dark blue and white variant. The plastic from which the headphones are made is matte and seems to be very resistant, at least against scratches. Both sides are connected by a rubberized wire that is just flexible. There are two physical buttons for changing the volume on the right earpiece, together with a charging USB-C connector, which is hidden under the cover. In addition, there is a special touch button on the right earpiece that can be used to turn on and control Swissten Bone Conduction. The left earpiece is then completely without functions.

Personal experience
Personally, I have been using the second generation AirPods daily for several long years. So using Swissten Bone Conduction was a very interesting change for me. To tell the truth, I didn't expect much from the reviewed headphones, because they are simply not classic headphones. But now I can say that I was wrong - but about the sound in the next paragraph. As for comfort, I can say that I definitely have nothing to complain about. Thanks to the fact that the headphones weigh only 16 grams, you practically do not feel them on your head at all. Swissten Bone Conduction are especially suitable for exercise, especially outdoors. Since the reviewed headphones are not inserted in the ears, but placed on the cheekbones, you can continue to perceive the surrounding sounds, together with the music. Thanks to this, you can be sure that your inattention will not cause an accident, for example. In a way, this is the complete opposite of AirPods Pro, which, on the other hand, have the task of completely isolating the user.
In addition, it also eliminates unpleasant sweating inside the ears, which can be observed during exercise, especially when using earplugs. Of course, on the other hand, we also sweat a lot behind our ears, so you have to expect that the headphones will need to be cleaned and disinfected regularly. Since the Swissten Bone Conduction are placed behind the ears, they really hold perfectly and you don't feel like they are falling out. So, if any of your headphones fall off, believe me, Swissten Bone Conduction definitely won't. As for the control, it is done mainly through the touch button on the right earpiece. This method of control works very reliably, although a few times during testing I accidentally paused the music, for example. The headphones also have a microphone, so you can make calls without any problems.

As I said above, I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of the Swissten Bone Conduction. Quite frankly, I expected that the type of earphones that the Swissten Bone Conduction are, just couldn't play well. What we're going to lie about is the difference when you let the sound play directly into your ear or into your cheekbone. So I didn't have high expectations, but I was surprised after playing the music for the first time. Of course, you can hear the difference compared to classic headphones - that's completely logical. But when I think about the fact that the headphones are not inserted in the ears, the sound is definitely more than good. I perceive the lackluster bass as the main drawback, but the other sounds are completely problem-free, even at higher volumes. In any case, Swissten Bone Conduction headphones can be considered safe, as thanks to them you can listen to music and at the same time hear surrounding sounds, for example passing cars, etc.

If you are looking for new wireless headphones for sports and want to be sure that you will stay safe while listening to music, the Swissten Bone Conduction headphones are the right choice. The sound is transmitted through the cheekbone directly into the ear, which means that the headphones are not inserted into the ears as such. Thanks to this, you are able to listen to your favorite music, but at the same time you can hear all the surrounding sounds, which is very important when doing sports in the city. Despite the fact that the sound is transmitted through the cheekbones, the sound is of good quality and I personally only lacked stronger bass. I bought the headphones based on this article. They have a cross-section from the inside directed to the ear where the sound flows (if you close the cross-section, it is silent)... so nothing goes through the cheekbone. I also have Aftershokz and that's a different coffee... So either your review is wrong or Swissten.eu only caught me.

I bought the headphones a week ago. And it's really not what I expected. The sound does not go through the cheekbones, but through the speaker, which is directed into the ear. It is enough for my listening, but what I bought it with definitely did not fulfill it.
