When I recently started preparing my work corner in my new apartment, I was tempted to decorate it in some way. The apparently simple vision, however, soon turned out to be relatively complicated, as tasteful decorative elements with a technological theme, which I have been so fond of for many years, are on the market like saffron - all the more so when one still has to calculate with the fact that they need to be adapted the rest of the interior of the given room, because  Unfortunately, I don't have a separate office. Fortunately, I was successful in my search, and since more and more people are asking me where I got my technological decorations, I think it's a good idea to share it with you.

The fact that I like Apple and minimalist design is kind of clear to everyone, given that I've been working on Flight through the World with Apple for quite a few years now and I'm surrounded by Apple products. So when I started thinking about decorations, I had in mind Apple-themed items that would be tasteful and somehow "digestible" even for people untainted by technology. Grid Studio, which focuses on the analysis of electronics and its subsequent transformation into wall paintings. I liked the whole idea in an extreme way, and so I started toying with the idea that I would enjoy the products from Grid. At first, I was thinking about making something similar myself, but frankly, I didn't want to invest my time, money and effort into a very uncertain result.

Grid

I was the first to receive my first Apple Watch from Grid, as I am a fan of them. I won't lie to you, the price is not exactly the lowest and I only saw the product in digital form on the display of my monitor until it was delivered, so I was logically a little afraid of how everything would look. However, all fears subsided practically immediately after the painting arrived. Grid takes extreme care in the packaging itself, when the painting is wrapped in black paper and tied with a bow with a seal. The image as such is then further foiled so that the front transparent side cannot be scratched, so you can be sure that the manufacturer has done everything to ensure that the image arrives to you in one piece. If this does not happen, the package includes glue, which you can use to glue the potentially fallen parts of the product to their original bridge.

Apple Watch Series 7 LsA

As for the painting itself, I was thrilled with it and honestly still am quite a few months after nailing it to the wall. The watch is not only perfectly mounted on the mat with labels, but also perfectly cleaned and disassembled, which makes everything look simply and well great. There is no denying the handwork here. The second piece from Grid, which now decorates my work area, was given to me by a friend for Christmas. This is specifically the iPhone 5, which has probably been my favorite iPhone so far, thanks to both functionality and design. The all-black body is still beautiful after all these years, and that's why it's almost incomprehensible to me why Apple doesn't want a similar solution anymore. And processing? Again number one with an asterisk. Everything is perfectly cleaned, placed and glued, which makes this piece feel absolutely perfect.

A few weeks ago, my colleague Roman and I made ourselves happy and reached for another piece from the Grid workshop. This time, however, it is not an image, but the Apple A5X processor, which was deployed only and only in the third generation iPad. Indeed, Grid has expanded its image offer precisely with processors embedded in transparent plastic, which allows you to view them in detail (and at the same time without any dust and other impurities) from both sides. I have to say that this piece also looks really beautiful and even though its price was not the lowest, as a true Apple fan, it makes me happy on my desk.

A5X Grid

If, like me, you have the desire to decorate your office, that is, your little room, living room or other room with something technological and at the same time stylish, I am not afraid to recommend products from the Grid Studio workshop. Its offer is fairly broad and the quality of the products (at least those that I have at home) is absolutely excellent. And when you "look out" for a discount, of which there are relatively many on the Grid (I recommend watching his Instagram), I think your wallet won't cry either. Just be aware that the products are shipped by Grid from China, so you will be waiting a few days for them.
