A car charger is something that almost everyone owns these days. It can be useful, for example, when you have a long journey ahead of you and you need to have the navigation on. Personally, the adapter also proved useful several times when I needed to leave quickly and did not have a charged phone. Until recently, however, I used an ugly, plastic adapter, which fulfilled its function, but did not look nice and was unnecessarily large. All these shortcomings (and not only them) are solved precisely by the miniature adapter from Swissten.

At first glance, you will immediately notice that the adapter is really tiny, which in my opinion is a great thing. In my car, I simply plug the adapter into the socket and it looks like the adapter is part of the kit. It does not get in the way unnecessarily and performs the function it is supposed to perform - it charges your device on the go. In addition, the adapter has a total of two outputs, each of which can "let" up to 2,4 A into the device. Together, the adapter can work with a current of up to 4,8 A, the maximum power is then 24 W. The design of the adapter is also premium . This is not some kind of plastic "junk" that should fall apart at any moment. The body of this adapter is metallic and although it may seem like a paradox, it feels robust in the hand despite its size.
Packing
Do not look for anything special inside the package. The box is painted in the classic colors of Swissten, i.e. to white and red. On the front side there is an image of the adapter itself and of course all its advantages. The other side then has instructions for use. After opening the box, all you have to do is slide out the plastic container in which the adapter is located. All you have to do is take the adapter and plug it into the car socket.

Personal experience
I personally have a really great experience with the adapter. As I wrote above, I used to own an unsightly and unnecessarily large adapter, moreover, with only one plug and with ordinary charging. After the replacement, I immediately noticed faster charging of all devices. I also see the fact that the adapter can charge two devices at the same time as a big advantage. My girlfriend and I no longer have to fight over just one charger – we simply plug in two cables and charge both of our iPhones. Magnetic holder Swissten S-GRIP DM6
The second product we will look at in today's review is a magnetic holder. Owning a magnetic or any kind of holder is slowly becoming an obligation these days. Navigation systems are slowly but surely falling into obscurity (unless of course you have one built right into your dashboard) and more and more people are using their smartphones to navigate around the world. Most ordinary mounts work on a snap-in basis, where you have to awkwardly insert the phone into the mount, and then secure it with "snaps". However, these brackets have already gone out of fashion. Now the trend is magnetic holders, which are much easier to use. One of them is the Swissten S-GRIP DM6.

The holder itself is constructed of solid plastic. At one end you will find a special rubberized surface which of course sticks. The rubberized surface is used so that you can easily fix the holder even on a part of the dashboard that is somehow bent. The adhesive surface is intended for sticking both to the dashboard and to the windshield. Of course, if you want to tear off the holder, you don't have to worry about pieces of glue remaining on the surface. At the other end of the holder is a round magnet that is used to attach your device. Of course, you cannot attach an iPhone or other phone to the holder without a magnet. That's exactly why you have to stick a second magnet, which is of course included in the package, either to the cover or to the phone itself. Personally, I can't imagine sticking a magnet on a device worth several thousand crowns. The second option sounds clear – stick the magnet to the phone case, or simply insert it between the case and the iPhone.
Packing
If you choose a magnetic holder from Swissten, you will receive a traditional red-and-white box with branding. On the front of the box there is a pictured holder by itself, on the back there is a small window, thanks to which you can immediately look at the holder. After opening the box, just pull the holder out of the plastic packaging. The package also includes a bag with metal plates (two round and two square in different sizes). You can choose a cover depending on how big and heavy your phone is. Of course, the equation applies: a heavier phone = the need to use a thicker cover. Also included is a second adhesive layer for the holder, which you can use when the first layer stops sticking. The last in the package are transparent protective films that you can stick on the tiles. This will prevent the metal plates from scratching the device if you place them between the case and the phone.

Personal experience
In all cases, I personally held the phone perfectly on the holder. However, be careful if you have a thicker cover and decide to insert the magnetic plate between the phone and the cover - in this case the magnet will no longer be as strong. I also liked the possibility to adjust and position the holder in different ways. The designation S-GRIP is not chosen by chance, as the entire "leg" of the holder is in the shape of the letter S. The holder is therefore perfectly positionable, not only thanks to its shape, but also thanks to the other parts.

If you are looking for accessories for your car, I can recommend both the fast charging adapter, which I really liked, and the magnetic holder. Although I'm not a big fan of the holders, after a few days of use I got used to it and now I enjoy using it. There is nothing easier than getting into the car and "clipping" the phone onto the holder. As soon as you get out of the car, you simply click off the phone and go.

And when more people want to use the holder? Me, wife, son. That's how rude he is. And the regular holder with the pads works independently of some magnets, not to mention the fact that I have to stick something on the phone cover. It's impractical and ugly. And if you have a magnet stuck to the phone cover in your back and you want to put your phone in the holder in the company car, you won't be able to get it there.

Jonás, you didn't even hold it in your hand again, did you? Or do you just not understand it? No magnet is attached to the phone or placed under the cover. The magnet is only in the holder!!! The counter for placing on the phone is made of magnetic metal, but it is not a magnet. And I don't think those pack holders will go out of fashion anytime soon, I'm not afraid of that. I'm thinking about how such a holder must look, where it's so difficult to insert the phone into it and then fix it with the help of pegs. It must be some childhood trauma or I don't know. Think about it - complex insertion? Like how??? And then fastening with the help of pawls? Either I just click and that's it (I remember one from 15 years ago) or it clicks on its own. And I'm not talking about the holders you put your phone on, it grabs them and starts charging at the same time. You're probably the one "complicatedly" stretching the cable and connecting it to the phone in a complicated way, right? ?

I fully agree with the last comments, especially about the cheeky one.... I would honestly say that magnetic holders were in vogue for a while, but due to practicality, the need for magnetic metal/counterparts on the phone, etc., most people put them off again. And with holders with wireless charging, they also partially fall off.
