It's been a few days since Apple started selling the first two new Apple phones out of a total of four that it introduced. To be precise, you can buy the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro right now, while pre-orders for the iPhone 12 mini and 12 Pro Max won't open until November 6. You could read an article with unboxing and also first impressions in our magazine right after the sales launch on Friday. In both of these articles, we mentioned that a review of the iPhone 12 Pro will soon appear on our magazine, along with a review of the iPhone 12. As promised, we are doing as well and bringing you a review of Apple's current flagship. We can tell you right from the start that the iPhone 12 Pro is quite uninteresting at first glance, but once you use it for a while, you will gradually fall in love with it. So let's get straight to the point.

New package

How else should we start the review than with the packaging, which has been completely redesigned for the new flagships - specifically smaller. Some of you may know why Apple decided to make this change, while others may be wondering how the Apple company managed to squeeze headphones, an adapter, a cable and a manual into a smaller package. The answer to this question is simple - apart from the brief manual and the USB-C - Lightning cable, there is nothing else in the package. Now another question is probably coming to your mind, and that is why the "ordinary" accessories, which according to many opinions should simply be included in the package, were removed. Yes, at first glance the reason may be clear to most of you – the Californian giant wants to save where possible and thus have more profit. However, at the presentation of the new iPhones, Apple gave quite interesting information - there are currently around 2 billion adapters in the world and there is no need to produce more. Most of us already have a charging adapter at home, for example from another device, or from an older device. It is therefore not necessary to constantly produce more and more adapters - and of course it is the same with headphones. If you do not agree with this opinion, then of course nothing is happening. Apple has discounted the 20W charging adapter, together with the EarPods, on its online store just for you.

To be precise, the box of the new iPhones is about twice as thin, while the width and length remain the same depending on the size of the model. If you decide to buy the new "Pročka", you can look forward to a stylish black box, which is already customary even with last generation flagships. On the front of the box, you will find the device itself depicted from the front, and on the side there are the inscriptions iPhone and the  logo. The entire box is of course wrapped in foil, which can be removed simply by pulling the part with the green arrow.

After removing it, that magical moment comes when you hold the upper part of the box in your hand and let the lower part slide down by itself. Let's not lie, this feeling is truly loved by each of us, even though it is part of the packaging and not the product itself, this "feature" can be considered something inherent. In the box, the device is placed with its back facing up, so you can immediately see the sophisticated photo array, along with the color of your new iPhone. At first glance, you will be impressed by the cleanliness of the entire device, together with the simple and luxurious design.

After removing the iPhone itself, the package contains only the classic USB-C - Lightning cable, together with a stylish cover for the manual with text Designed by Apple in California. As for the cable, it's really a shame that Apple didn't decide to redesign it this year, according to speculation. It should have been braided, at least for the Pro models, and therefore more durable. Hopefully we'll see you next year. In the envelope you will find brief manuals in several languages and one  sticker. There is, of course, an aluminum key for pulling out the SIM card drawer. That's practically everything from the package, so let's dive into the main thing, namely the iPhone 12 Pro itself.

The first satisfying feelings

When you take the new flagship out of the box, the display is protected by a thin white film. In previous generations, it was customary for the iPhone to be wrapped in a plastic film, which has changed in this case. As soon as you take out the iPhone and turn it with the displays towards you, you will be slightly shocked. There is a white luminous film on the display, which in a way, that is, if you are not expecting it, will startle you. This film is a little less "plastic" and is not internally stuck on the display, but just decently laid. After removing this film, the iPhone no longer protects anything at all, and you have no choice but to turn on the device - you can do so by holding down the side button. After switching on, you will appear on the classic screen Hello, through which it is necessary to activate the new iPhone, connect to the network and, if necessary, transfer data from the new device. However, before we dive into the performance and the system as such, let's take a look at the brand new design that Apple came up with this year.

Reworked, "sharp" design

It has been a habit for a long time now that Apple tries to come up with a new design for its smartphones every three years. So these are some kind of cycles where three generations of Apple phones have the same core design and only small things change. All you have to do is compare the iPhone 6, 6s and 7, when we already consider the "eight" to be a kind of transitional model. So, for three generations, iPhones have had a very similar design – Touch ID, distinct edges at the top and bottom, a rounded body and more. With the arrival of the iPhone X came another cycle that continued with the XS and the 11 series. So it was more or less clear to Apple enthusiasts that the Californian giant had to come up with something new this year - of course, these predictions came true. At first glance, we got a similar design with older years, that is, if you look from the front or from the back. However, if you turn the iPhone 12 Pro from its side, or if you hold it in your hands for the first time, you will notice the "sharp" design, when the chassis is no longer rounded. With this step, Apple decided to bring Apple phones closer to the current design of the iPad Pro and the new iPad Air - so all these devices currently have the same design. In a way, Apple returned to the "era" of the iPhone 4 or 5, when the design was also angular and sharp.

The gold color will not please you

As you could have already noticed from the photos attached above, the iPhone 12 Pro in gold color arrived at our office. And the gold color is, not only in my opinion, the weakest link of the new flagship, for several different reasons - let's break them down together. Looking at the first photos of the back of the gold variant, some of you may have wondered if it is more of a silver variant. So the back side could definitely be a bit more "golden". Of course, I know that the cheaper iPhone 12 offers colorful colors, but simply and simply, this gold variant doesn't quite suit me. Right in the middle of the matte back is, as is customary, the  logo, which is glossy for its visibility, which you can recognize, among other things, just by swiping your finger. Only the camera module, which is located in the upper part of the body, "disrupts" the cleanliness of the back. As for the glass itself, Corning, the company behind the well-known hardened Gorilla Glass, took care of that. Unfortunately, we do not know the exact type of glass, as Apple has never boasted of this information. Some of you might then ask what about the visible CE certificate that must be present on devices from the EU and not found on devices from the United States for example. Apple has decided to move this certificate to the lower part of the right side of the new iPhones. The good news is that here the certificate is practically impossible to see, only at a certain angle of inclination, which definitely helped the mentioned purity of the design.

Source: Jablíčkář.cz editors

This brings us to the sides of the entire chassis. It is made of stainless steel, which is simply not seen in many smartphones. In the case of the "twelves", only the Pro series has a stainless steel chassis, the classic iPhones 12 mini and 12 are constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum. By using stainless steel, you can be sure that the construction of the phone is really solid - and it feels exactly like that in your hand. You can then look forward to a shiny design, as is already the custom with Apple when using stainless steel. Unfortunately, the glossy design is really bad for the gold variant. A few days after the release of the new iPhones, the news spread on the Internet that only the gold version of the new "Pro" is specially treated against fingerprints. From this it can be concluded that without modification the fingerprints on the sides of the device would be very visible indeed. Now, some of you might expect that you won't see any fingerprints on the chassis thanks to the mentioned modification - but the opposite is true. I dare say that once you take the gold iPhone 12 Pro out of the box and touch it for the first time, you will never be able to get it back to its original appearance. You can really see every single fingerprint and dirt on the shiny gold finish - to the point where one could argue that these prints could not, like in the movies, be used to unlock an office that is locked with just a fingerprint.

The overly visible fingerprints aren't the only thing that bothers me about the gold version. In addition, the gold variant looks cheap and plastic at first glance. I wanted to make sure I wasn't really the only one with this opinion, so I gave the gold iPhone 12 Pro to a few other people to look at, and after using it for a while, they told me practically the exact same thing - again, of course, there were mentions of fingerprints. So if I were personally buying a new iPhone 12 Pro and I were choosing a color, I would definitely put the gold one last. To be completely honest, the iPhone 12 Pro in gold looks to me like it's wrapped in some kind of plastic cover with an aluminum motif. Of course, the design is a completely subjective matter and I will not go back to the gold version in this review, in any case, I would just like to point out that I am definitely not the only one who has such an opinion about the gold version. Ideally, you should see all the color variants before buying and choose the one that suits you. Perhaps, on the contrary, you will conclude that gold is the best color for you.

When will we get a smaller cutout?

At the very end of the design section, I would like to dwell on the upper cut-out, which is located on the front of the iPhone. If you look at the competition, you will find that there are already front cameras that are, for example, retractable, that work under the display, or that are hidden only in a small "drop" - but not in a huge cutout, next to which you can climb from each side only the time and network connection status. In this case, some of you might argue with me that there is not only a front camera on the front, but a very complex Face ID system that also has a projector. Personally, however, I have already taken apart several iPhone X and later, and I have also taken a close look at the entire Face ID system several times. I definitely don't want to criticize Apple with this and claim that I could handle Face ID better, not even by mistake. Unfortunately, I find it slightly strange that there is quite a lot of space between the individual components of Face ID, which is not filled in any way. If Apple designed all the components of Face ID right next to each other, then the size of the upper cutout could be reduced by half, theoretically even by three quarters. Unfortunately, this did not happen and we have no choice but to accept it.

Camera

I would very much like to devote the next part of the review to the camera, i.e. the photo system as such. I can say right from the start that the photo system of the new iPhone 12 Pro is simply perfect, and even though it may seem on paper that nothing has changed at all, on the contrary, a lot has changed in terms of image quality. If you're looking for a smartphone that can deliver absolutely perfect photos and videos, then I dare say you can stop looking. You are currently reading about the king of smartphone cameras, which, in my opinion, will be difficult for anyone to compete with - and we have not yet seen the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which has an even better photo system compared to the 12 Pro. It's truly incredible how the latest "Pročko" can take photos, both in the day and in the dark, at night, in the rain - in short, in all kinds of conditions.

When it comes to daytime photos, you will be immediately attracted by the colors. It is a common practice for competing devices that the colors are very colorful, as if from a fairy tale. However, I personally see this as a huge disadvantage and I much prefer the colors to be realistic or, on the contrary, slightly dull. The professional will be happy to edit all the photos, one by one. On the other hand, I understand the intentions of the manufacturers, who want to bring their consumers the resulting photos that catch their eye at first glance, and with which they don't have to work any further. I'm really glad that Apple isn't the same in this case, and that it's forging its own path of pleasing photos with true-to-life colors. It doesn't matter whether you are photographing the autumn leaves of deciduous trees, which play with all colors, or whether you are photographing a concrete jungle. In all cases, you will get such a result that you will definitely like and when viewing it, you will not feel that the picture was taken in some happy fairy tale.

Wide-angle mode:

Portrait mode definitely has another praise for me. It should be noted that I personally own an iPhone XS, so I'm more or less comparing it to this two-year-old model all the time - so it's possible that the 11 Pro will be significantly better than the XS. Portraits are much more accurate with the 12 Pro, both in the recognition of edges, and also in the recognition of "cutouts", i.e. different parts of the photo to be blurred together with the background. Portrait mode excels especially during the day. In most cases, there will be a perfect recognition of what is to be blurred, i.e. the background, and what is not. You will encounter very few problems, and if you do, just refocus and you're done. Apple then also boasted that the iPhone 12 Pro can take perfect portraits even in the dark. I can easily disagree with this statement, because the words perfect photography and darkness do not go together for me. Even though the iPhone 12 Pro has a great Night mode, I would definitely leave out the word perfect here. At the same time, I just can't imagine anyone taking portraits in the dark. This just doesn't make sense to me.

Portrait Mode:

On the other hand, I can definitely praise the Night mode in the case of the classic mode, not in the portrait mode. As I mentioned above, I have an iPhone XS, which officially does not have Night mode, although it does make certain adjustments to the device after taking a photo at night. It was with the iPhone 12 Pro that I tried Night Mode for the first time, and I must say that I was speechless when I took the first photos. One night, around midnight, I decided to open the window of the house, stick my phone out towards the unlit field, and in my head said to myself in a diabolical tone so show yourself. So I followed the iPhone's instructions - kept the phone still without shaking (it will show a cross that you have to hold on to) and waited three seconds for Night Mode to "apply". After taking the photo, I opened the gallery and I absolutely did not understand where the iPhone 12 Pro was able to take so much light, or how it was able to color the pitch-black darkness in such a way, in which I had trouble seeing a meter in front of me. In this case, the night mode is quite scary, because you never know what might be waiting for you in the dark - and the iPhone 12 Pro will tell you everything without napkins.

Ultra-wide mode and Night mode photos:

The 12 Pro specifically has three lenses – we've already mentioned the wide-angle, we've talked about the portrait, but we still haven't said much about the ultra-wide-angle lens. As you probably know, this lens can zoom out the entire scene, so it has a much wider field of view than a classic lens, which can be useful in some cases. You will often be able to use the zoom mode, for example, in the mountains, or perhaps on some nice view, from which you will want to take a nice memory in the form of an ultra-wide-angle photo. But the interesting thing is that once you switch from the classic wide-angle mode to the ultra-wide-angle one, you simply don't know in which of these modes the photo will look best. Then, more or less for fun, you switch to portrait and find out that it's actually great too. In the end, you are able to take three photos from each lens from one scene, because you simply cannot choose.

Differences between ultra-wide, wide-angle and portrait lenses:

To be completely honest, I'm definitely not the type to take a "selfie" every morning, i.e. a photo of my face with the front camera. Personally, I've used the iPhone's front camera in the past to the maximum extent when I dropped a screw in the engine compartment of my car that I desperately needed to find - in this case, the front camera served as a perfect mirror. But back to the topic - I can only take selfies with my significant other when, of course, she is taking pictures and I am just standing in the way. Photos from the front camera of the new iPhone 12 Pro are also absolutely perfect, and I can also praise the perfect portrait mode, which is more accurate and natural compared to the iPhone XS. Only with the front camera does the Night mode for portrait photography make a bit of sense to me, but again, I note that it is nothing that I would personally consider perfect. The greater the darkness, the more obvious the noise and the generally poorer quality of the resulting photo - and this is how it is with both the front and rear cameras.

iPhone XS vs. iPhone 12 Pro:

In addition to all that, the new "twelves" are the only mobile devices that can shoot in HDR Dolby Vision mode at 60 FPS. For those less familiar, simply put, it is a 4K HDR recording developed by Dolby, also known for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Surround technologies. You are certainly interested in how the new "Pročko" is actually doing with the recording. After the first recording, I was quite unpleasantly surprised, but then I realized that the option for recording 4K at 60 FPS is not selected in the native settings. In this case, it is therefore necessary to go to Settings -> Camera, where it is necessary to activate video recording in 4K at 60 FPS, and also to activate the switch for the HDR video option. Even in the field of video as such, iPhones have always been at the top, and with the arrival of the "twelves", this reign is only confirmed once again. The video is very smooth, stutter-free and looks absolutely fantastic both on the iPhone display and on a 4K TV. The only problem here is the file size – if you wanted to record 4K HDR 60 FPS video all the time, you'd need either 2 TB on iCloud or the top 512 GB version of the iPhone. One minute of such recording in HDR is 440 MB, which is still a hell of a lot even for today.

iPhone 12 Pro video test. Please note the reduced video quality on YouTube:

And you know what's the best part of it all? That in the final you don't have to worry about anything at all. I'll say it bluntly - the iPhone 12 Pro's camera is really so foolproof that it can turn practically anyone into a professional photographer. Whether you're an influencer who needs to create perfect photos for Instagram, or you bought a new Apple phone to occasionally create photos for your album, you'll love the 12 Pro. You should also know that the new iPhone 12 Pro is very forgiving when taking pictures. Maybe you don't quite know what I mean now, but to zoom in - you don't have to hold the iPhone absolutely firmly in your hand when taking pictures in night mode thanks to stabilization. The system can easily handle everything, which is absolutely great. In the final, we are really approaching the time when we can't tell whether the photo was taken with an Apple flagship or a professional SLR camera for tens or hundreds of thousands of crowns. With iPhone 12 Pro, it doesn't matter what, when, where and how you take photos - you can be sure that the result will be famous, stylish and exemplary. In this case, the competition could definitely learn from the apple company. So again this year, in the field of the entire iPhone photo system, we were convinced that Apple simply and simply can do it.

LiDAR as an unfulfilled dream

At the end of the majority of the section dedicated to the camera, I would like to stop at LiDAR. Only flagships with the designation Pro have this. It is a special scanner that can emit invisible laser beams into the surroundings. Depending on how long it takes for the beam to return, the LiDAR can easily determine the distance between individual objects in the vicinity. LiDAR works with several of these beams, with the help of which it can then create for itself a kind of 3D model of the room or space in which it is located. In addition to the fact that LiDAR can be used in augmented reality, which is not yet so widespread at the present time, it is also used by the camera. Specifically, LiDAR is used when taking night portraits, which unfortunately, as I mentioned above, don't quite make sense to me. Thanks to LiDAR, the iPhone can focus better at night and find out where certain objects are so that it can easily blur the background - I can really attest to this when comparing it to the XS. The technology is great, but unfortunately it only activates at night or in poor lighting conditions. Personally, I think it would be perfect if LiDAR also worked classically during the day, when it could improve problematic portraits and specify what should be blurred. I am really saddened by the fact that LiDAR is currently unusable - in AR (in the country) completely, and in the camera it is used where it is not needed at all. But who knows, maybe we will see an improvement with the arrival of an update.

Batteries and charging

When Apple presents its new apple phones, during the presentation its representatives can talk about practically everything you might be interested in. However, the Californian giant never mentioned when introducing the new phones how large the batteries of the new phones are, and how the device with RAM is doing. Due to the coronavirus, it was not even possible to test the new iPhones in advance and find out what their battery size is. Although we managed to find out these data from various sources before the start of sales, we officially received the exact capacities only after the first disassembly. After finding out the real capacities, many Apple fans were surprised, as the battery capacity of all models is much smaller compared to last year's models - for the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, we are specifically talking about a battery that has 2 mAh. In a way, the brand new, extra powerful and economical A815 Bionic processor should compensate for this. This processor is undoubtedly powerful and economical, in any case, Apple's endurance on a single charge did not quite go well, that is, within the framework of my personal use.

I decided to use the reviewed iPhone 12 Pro as my primary device for a few days. This means that I locked my old XS in a drawer and only worked with the iPhone 12 Pro. To put everything into perspective, according to Screen Time, I have the screen on my Apple phone active for about 4 hours a day on average, which, in my opinion, is also the general average of my peers. During the day after that, I perform practically completely basic operations on the iPhone. Most often, I use my iPhone to chat via iMessage or Messenger, besides that I "surf" social networks a few times a day. After lunch I'll watch a video or two, then make a few calls during the day. I play games absolutely minimally, practically not at all. Instead, I rather use Safari to manage the magazine or to search for some information.

After a few days of using the iPhone 12 Pro, I was quite disappointed with the battery life. Of course, Apple states in its official materials that the iPhone can play video for up to 17 hours at a time - in any case, it seems to me that the Californian giant must measure this value with the display turned off, or with the display brightness set to the absolute minimum, together with the active airplane mode and low video quality. It goes without saying that, according to the presentation, it also lasts all day. That's why I can't explain why I managed to get just under 12 hours with the iPhone 11 Pro, which is unfortunately woefully short. If I were to put this situation into practice, I started using the iPhone at 8 am and before 19 pm I had to plug in the charger because the last few percent were left. For me personally, the average user, the battery of the iPhone 12 Pro is not enough for the whole day. It should be noted that my XS is doing almost as well (if not better) with a condition of 86%, with which I can practically last until I go to bed - even with chafed ears, but yes.

Of course, it is clear to me that the reduction in battery capacity had to happen due to the integration of 5G. But personally, I would prefer if the battery capacity was increased instead of 5G. Of course, we don't live in America, where 5G is much more widespread and users here consider this next-generation network to be a kind of idol. But honestly, I never got into such problems that the speed of the 4G/LTE network was not enough for me. I was even able to work on 4G/LTE for several days straight when I found myself in a situation without classic internet. It should be noted that in the end we can actually be glad that 5G is not so widespread here, but only available in a few cities. According to available information, when using the 5G network, the battery drains drastically, up to 20%, which is yet another alarming fact. So if I were an American and used 5G all day, I would get just under 9 hours of battery life, which is simply not ideal. So, at least for now, I recommend deactivating 5G in the settings. We will look at 5G itself in the next part of the review.

I would love to forgive Apple if it were possible to at least charge the new iPhones properly and lightning fast. Even in this case, however, the Californian giant does not excel in any way with its flagships. Specifically, Apple states that you can go from zero to 50% using a 20W charging adapter in 30 minutes, and it takes another 30 minutes to charge another 40% up. In the end, it will take you practically an hour and a half to charge the iPhone 12 Pro from zero to one hundred, which again is nothing extra considering that the competition can charge the entire battery capacity within half an hour. From my own experience, I can state that in 30 minutes the iPhone 12 Pro was able to charge from 10% to 66%, another 30 minutes then it took to charge from 66% to 93% percent, then about 15 minutes were missing from XNUMX%. In addition to the classic charger, you can of course use the new MagSafe accessories and chargers. However, we will not cover MagSafe in this review, as we do so in a separate article, see below.

Apple: 5G > battery

I would really like to tell you that 5G support for iPhones is as ground-breaking in the country as it is perceived in, for example, America. But the opposite is also true in this case. At present, 5G is only available in Prague, Cologne and several other larger cities. Since I come from Ostrava, I unfortunately do not have the option of connecting to the 5G network, and therefore I could not try it out for myself. We have published quite a few not only in our magazine articles, in which we look at what current 5G in the Czech Republic is capable of. In this paragraph, I can practically only point out that all iPhone 12 models are sold in the USA in two variants, as far as 5G support is concerned. In the United States, in addition to classic 5G labeled Sub-6GHz, 5G mmWave is also available, which reaches a download speed of up to the aforementioned 4 Gb/s. As for Sub-6GHz, in the country we can currently enjoy a maximum speed of around 700 Mb/s. You can recognize an iPhone 12 with mmWave support by the "cut-out" plastic oval on one side of the device - see the link to the article below. This cut-out is used by the antennas to be able to capture the mmWave signal.

Picture, performance and sound

We're not going to lie to ourselves, in the previous paragraphs we've slightly sunk the new "Pročko". But certainly nothing is too hot to cook. At first glance, among other things, you can see the brand new OLED display labeled Super Retina XDR, which you will fall in love with almost immediately. Even though the XS has an OLED panel, the 12 Pro plays in a completely different league. Of course, I decided to compare the image of both of these iPhones and it should be noted that the 12 Pro quite logically won. The color presentation and the general quality of the display as such is absolutely famous and there is nothing to add to it. The good news is that the Super Retina XDR display is available on all new "twelves", so anyone who decides to buy one of the four new iPhones can really look forward to a perfect display. You will of course notice the biggest difference if you switch to the Super Retina XDR display from a classic LCD display (iPhone 8 and older) or from a Liquid Retina HD display (iPhone XR or 11). I can also mention the perfect visibility in the sun, which is possible thanks to the high brightness of the new displays.

As I mentioned above, all the new "twelves" have a brand new A14 Bionic processor. This processor is, after all, like every year, the most powerful apple processor for a mobile phone. In addition to performance, the A14 Bionic is of course extremely economical, which should make the battery last much longer - even so, an even lower iPhone endurance would definitely not be acceptable. However, most users within iOS do not have a chance to use the A14 Bionic processor to one hundred possible percent - perhaps iPad users who perform all kinds of complex tasks are capable of this, or the A14 Bionic could appear in one of the Apple computers in the future. Personally, I haven't had a single hang-up problem after the initial startup of the iPhone, when there are countless different processes and actions going on in the background. Even after a few days, I tried in every way to get the 12 Pro into such a situation that it would get stuck, in any case, I didn't succeed even once. Such an iPhone XS will get stuck here and there during the day. So whether you're going to play games, watch YouTube videos or chat while doing so, you can be sure that the A14 Bionic will have absolutely no problems and will still have performance to spare.

As for the sound, I personally prefer to listen to music with AirPods, anyway from time to time I find myself in a situation where I use the iPhone speakers. You must be wondering how the speakers of the new 12 Pro are doing. I would like to point out that I'm definitely not an audiophile and I don't need to listen to songs in FLAC format, so I definitely won't do a complete sound analysis. The best I can do is play some music, close my eyes and think about what I could say about the sound. As for the volume as such, it was, is and will probably always be the highest on iPhones compared to the competition - of course you have to be careful about possible dirty speaker holes. The speaker's bass is strong in my opinion, but forget about shaking the table, of course. The highs are then perfectly clear and the iPhone has no problem playing any genre. The sound performance of the new iPhone 12 Pro is absolutely exceptional, and Apple has my praise for it - although it may not suit some audiophiles.

záver

In the end, how would I rate the new iPhone 12 Pro in the form of Apple's flagship? Despite the fact that I did not spare criticism in the above-mentioned paragraphs, it was immediately positive. Personally, I would of course choose this phone in any color other than gold - that would solve one big design problem, which unfortunately bothers me a lot. I would probably prefer the Pacific blue version, which in my opinion is absolutely great this year. In addition, it is also dark, so fingerprints will not be visible as much on the sides. The camera is also absolutely famous, which the Californian giant has definitely succeeded in this year as well. The camera takes pictures and records absolutely fantastically, and it is unbelievable to see what kind of photos or records the iPhone was able to create, in cooperation with powerful hardware.

This is what the iPhone 12 Pro looks like in Pacific Blue:

I must not forget to mention the low battery life, which was also experienced by a few editorial offices abroad. However, if you can charge your iPhone wirelessly during the day, or if you often drive a car, then the lower battery life will not affect you in any way. You really only need to put the iPhone on the charger for twenty minutes during the day and it's done. LiDAR, which could be involved in other processes, is also somewhat disappointing for me, as well as the (lack of) 5G support, which probably makes this year's iPhones not last as long on a single charge as their predecessors. So if you are going to switch to the iPhone 12 Pro from iPhone 8 and older, then you definitely have something to look forward to - it will be an absolutely huge leap for you. However, if you have an iPhone X and later, in my opinion, I would wait another year and let Apple fix the battery life issues, along with tweaking some other features.
