After the release of the embargo on the impressions of the iPhone 13 and the 9th generation iPad, here is the last of the products presented by Apple in September. The arrival of the iPad mini (6th generation) was quite a surprise, even in terms of its functions. Except for the completely new appearance, it has been improved in every way, and foreign reviews speak enthusiastically.

Federico Viticci of MacStories describes the experience of using the iPad mini every day as a "joy". He states that the real strength of the device is actually in its dimensions. This is a truly portable device that you will appreciate especially when you are simply using it. It even puts it above the iPad Air when it comes to consuming any content.

As for the design, the review is certainly interesting Caitlin McGarry of Gizmond. He mentions that the iPad mini's display is actually too small to do a lot of complex work on it. And that is actually a blessing. So you can enjoy the tablet without thinking about how extensive work it can handle. You know it can handle it, but you also know that your experience with such work will be terrible, so you automatically reach for a full-fledged device. Thanks to this, paradoxically, there are no compromises, as in the case of larger iPads.

CNBC then draws attention to several design peculiarities of the iPad mini. The volume buttons take some getting used to. They are too high if you have your iPad in portrait mode. He cites the absence of Face ID as a clear negative. This is a convenient function known from the iPad Pro, which the small iPad simply lacks to perfection. After all, he comments on Touch ID TechCrunch. It says that it responds really quickly, but it often happens that instead of authenticating access to applications, it actually turns off the display. The grip of the device compared to the iPad Air is also to blame.

CNN Underscored highlights the iPad's front camera and of course also mentions the image centering feature. According to the magazine, this is the perfect tool for video calls. It is therefore a question why, for example, the new iPhone 13 does not have this function.
