When the word Swissten is mentioned, many of our readers probably think of products in the form of classic and more advanced power banks, adapters, headphones and other accessories of great quality. As far as powerbanks are concerned, we've already seen quite a lot of them from Swissten. From All-in-One power banks, through power banks with extreme capacity, to even a power bank for Apple Watch. But I can assure you that you have probably never seen the power bank we are going to look at today. We will look at the wireless power bank from Swissten, which, however, unlike other wireless power banks, has suction cups - so you can attach your iPhone to the power bank "hard". But let's not get ahead of ourselves unnecessarily and let's look at everything step by step.

Technical Specifications

The Swissten wireless charger with suction cups is a new product that has not been in the company's portfolio for very long. As you can already guess from the name, this power bank will interest you mainly with the suction cups located on the front of its body. With them, you can "snap" the power bank onto any device that supports wireless charging. Thanks to the suction cups, it will not happen that the power bank could move somewhere and the charging would not be completed. The capacity of the power bank is 5.000 mAh, which has a positive effect on its size and weight - specifically, we are talking about a size of 138 x 72 x 15 mm and a weight of only 130 grams. In addition to wireless charging, the powerbank also has a total of four connectors. Lightning, microUSB and USB-C serve as input connectors for charging, and the single output USB-A connector is then used for possible recharging by cable and not wirelessly.

Packing

If we look at the packaging of the Swissten wireless power bank with suction cups, we will not be surprised at all. The power bank is quite expectedly packed in a dark blister with Swissten branding. On the front of the box there is a picture of the power bank itself, on the back you will find the instructions for use and, of course, a complete description and specifications of the power bank. If you open the box, it is enough to slide out the plastic carrying case, in which the power bank itself is already located. Together with it, there is also a twenty-centimeter microUSB cable in the package, with which you can charge the powerbank immediately after unpacking. There is nothing more in the package, and let's face it, there is no need for a power bank.

Processing

You won't find much out of the ordinary in the processing field of the Swissten wireless power bank with suction cups. The power bank itself is made of black plastic with a non-slip surface treatment. So if you put the power bank on a table or anywhere else, it won't fall over. Of course, the most interesting part is the front part of the power bank, where the suction cups themselves are located in the upper and lower quarters - specifically, there are ten of them on each third. The material under these suction cups is then made of rubber to prevent possible scratching of the device. In the middle of the front side, there is already the charging surface itself, which does not have suction cups on it. It is again made of black plastic with surface treatment. You will then find the Swissten logo at the bottom of this section. On the back of the powerbank you will then find a description of the connectors along with information about the powerbank. On the side you will then find the activation button together with four diodes that inform you of the current charge status of the powerbank.

Personal experience

I really fell in love with the Swissten wireless power bank with suction cups and I admit that I have never seen such a simple and great solution. This power bank can be considered a cheaper Battery Case for iPhone. Of course, the power bank from Swissten doesn't protect your device in any way and of course it doesn't look that tasteful, but I definitely have to praise Swissten for this solution. In addition, this power bank could also be appreciated by women, who can simply attach the power bank to charge their iPhones and throw this connected "whole" into their purse. You don't have to bother with cables or anything else - you simply attach the power bank to the iPhone, activate charging and it's done.

The suction cups are strong enough to stay on your device. At the same time, however, they are very delicate, so their use should not cause unwanted damage to the iPhone. I see the only disadvantage as the fact that the suction cups will of course stick to the glass backs of iPhones - but that must be taken into account. Otherwise, I can confirm that the power bank can charge the iPhone even if you add it to the cover. It is therefore not necessary to attach the power bank directly to the back of the device.
