There are so many power banks available in today's market that it is slowly becoming difficult to know them all. Some have a microUSB port, others Lightning. Some display their status using LEDs, while others have a display - and I could compare like this endlessly. In today's review, we look at a power bank from Swissten. You might be thinking that reviews of power banks from Swissten have already appeared on this server. Of course you're right, but we haven't had this new power bank here yet. It is an all-in-one power bank, which exactly defines what it offers according to its name - that is, everything in one. If you want to find out what such an "all in one power bank" can offer, then definitely read on.

Official specification

The all-in-one power bank from Swissten will primarily interest you with the number of all sorts of different connectors. So if you own, for example, an iPhone and want to charge your MacBook at the same time, of course you can. Yes, you read that right – this power bank can also charge a MacBook with a USB-C connector. As a result, the all-in-one power bank offers a Lightning connector, a USB-C connector, a classic USB-A connector and, last but not least, a microUSB connector. In this case, the Lightning connector is only used to charge the power bank, just like the microUSB connector. The USB-C connector is then bidirectional – so you can use it to charge the power bank, but you can also use it to charge other devices. The largest USB-A connector is then intended for charging your devices.

But that's not all. If you own a device that supports wireless charging, you will certainly like to use the wireless chargers directly on the body of the power bank. Even in this case, there is something extra. The maximum possible output of the wireless charger on this powerbank is 10W, which is twice as much as offered by classic, ordinary powerbanks. This will charge your device much faster. The dominant feature on the body of the power bank is also the display, which, after pressing the button, tells you how many percent of the power bank is still charged.

Technology

I would like to stop at all the connectors, specifically the technologies they use. In this case, Swissten definitely did not compromise and used an "improved" version of the connector where possible. In the case of the USB-C connector, it is the use of Power Delivery (PD) technology, with which you can charge your Apple devices very quickly. Apple products only support fast charging using PD technology. Fast charging of apple products is therefore taken care of. If you own an Android device, you will definitely not be disappointed. The classic USB-A port has Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology, i.e. similar to PD, but for Android devices. Of course, you can use all ports to charge your devices at once.

Packing

In this case, the Swissten all-in-one power bank is packaged similarly to all other products, namely power banks, from Swissten. Stylish black box, the front shows a power bank with all the most important features. After turning, you can see a list of all connectors, including a detailed description. As you can see, Swissten also makes sure not to waste. Therefore, he was not afraid to put the instructions for use on the back of the box and not on a special paper. Environmentalists can therefore give Swissten the green light. Inside the package is the power bank itself and the rechargeable microUSB cable.

Processing

Although the processing of the all-in-one power bank from Swissten may seem identical to that of classic power banks from Swissten, after a closer examination you will find that this is not the case. The body itself is of course made of plastic, which you can notice mainly on the white stripes on the sides of the power bank. The front and back are also plastic, but with a very pleasant texture. Upon closer inspection, this texture resembles leather, and its main advantage is that it holds the charging device exactly where it should be when charging wirelessly. At the same time, this treatment is pleasant, as it repels water. Even if the manufacturer does not state this, I think that nothing would happen to the power bank even in light rain. But definitely don't try it voluntarily, this is just my guess.

Personal experience

When I received an "introduction" email about this power bank, I thought it would be a classic power bank with multiple connectors. After a closer examination, however, I discovered that the power bank has all sorts of technologies, which we already described in one of the paragraphs above. But what surprised me the most is the fact that the power bank can also charge a MacBook. Specifically, I tested charging on a 13″ MacBook Pro 2017 and I really couldn’t believe my eyes. After connecting the USB-C connector to the MacBook, it actually started charging. Of course, it is logical that you will not charge your MacBook to 100%, but if the situation requires it, this power bank is absolutely perfect as a spare energy source for your MacBook.

I also put the power bank through a little testing. I was wondering how the power bank would perform if I connected several charging devices to it and at the same time I would also charge the power bank itself from the mains. Most classic power banks start to fail in some way. For example, there will be intermittent charging of some devices, or the power bank will completely "turn off". In this case, however, nothing like that happened and I was even pleasantly surprised by the fact that the body of the power bank did not heat up in any way, which is very respectable.

záver

If you're looking for the ultimate power bank that offers just about everything it can, then you've just hit a goldmine. The all-in-one power bank from Swissten has four connectors and you can also charge your devices wirelessly. The fact that you can also charge your MacBook with this power bank is also great. The all-in-one power bank from Swissten is well made, it supports charging up to three devices at once, and the best thing about it is its price. After several weeks of testing, I can recommend this power bank to you with peace of mind. Below you can watch a product video directly from Swissten, which will show you the exact shape of the battery and all its features and advantages.
