Apple picker Adobe Kuler appeared as a web application on computer monitors in the premiere as early as 2006. Many graphic artists, artists and designers will therefore surely welcome the fact that this program has also arrived on the display of the iPhone smartphone and thus gained the necessary mobility.
You have the additional possibility to discover new colors and to determine the exact shades - very easily. Just like the web version, which is one of the interesting Adobe Creative Cloud services, the Kuler application will allow you to select the shades you want from the photo - using five circles that you drag across the photo with your finger to the place from which you want to get the desired color. Using some "tentacles", we can adjust the color scheme or create a new one. If we choose 2 colors, Adobe Kuler immediately finds us other suitable (harmonious) colors. One color is the so-called basic, and the generation of other colors depends on it. We can also change the order of colors in the theme, adjust the brightness... We can then use self-created themes in applications such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and others. Themes can be created in different color spaces (RGB, CMYK, Lab, HSV), their HEX representation can also be used.
In Kuler, we can edit, rename, delete, or share topics via email or Twitter. However, for full use, it is good to register and use Adobe ID. While public themes (Public Themes) can be used in any CS6 application that Kuler supports, synced themes require and are automatically synced with the upcoming version of apps i.e. Creative Cloud series. I see the greatest use in the combination of the application and the built-in camera. You take a picture in the field, choose the necessary colors on the spot and save the themes for future use. Adobe Kuler manages to take photos with both the front and rear camera, and the flash comes into play in low-light conditions. After tapping the screen, it freezes the current theme, this operation on the iPhone 5 does not take even a second, everything is very fast. If you have an image from which you want to get a color scheme, just upload it to Adobe Kuler. The search for harmonious colors is performed directly in the application.
It wouldn't be surprising if Adobe Kuler in its mobile version became a popular tool for creative designers, photographers, graphic artists and anyone who needs to work with color.
