The entire body of the station is made of black matte aluminum, which fits perfectly on the office desk next to other electronics. On the front of the station is the Swissten logo, together with LEDs that can indicate the charge status of a particular device. The stand support for charging the iPhone is very interestingly made. The support itself is plastic and has a rubber surface on the contact surface, so your device will not be scratched. As for the Lightning connector at the bottom, it can be easily moved to easily connect and disconnect the iPhone - so you definitely don't have to worry about damaging or breaking the protruding Lightning connector in any way. I had the opportunity to test the 45W charging station from Swissten for a few days - and I must say that it is getting used to it really well. Whenever you need to charge something, you can use it without any problems. Another advantage is that you only need one place in the extension cable to charge a total of four devices. The other places can therefore be used to power anything else. The truth is that the adapter itself is a bit bigger, anyway, even if you had to reserve a total of two places in the extension cable because of it, it is undoubtedly a win. Since I regularly charge the Apple Watch, AirPods and iPhone together in the evening, I had the opportunity to test the station at full power. The aluminum body practically did not heat up at all during charging of all devices, which I perceive as a great feature. At the same time, I tried charging another iPhone via the cable and in this case there were no problems.
