There are tons of apps in the App Store that allow you to adjust the light of your photos. We introduced you to Jablíčkář, for example Lens Flare, Mextures or faded. Another interesting application for editing photos, specifically lighting effects, is a discreet application rays. If you also need to highlight the penetrating light, be sure to focus on it.

The principle of photo processing is quite simple. First, you determine the point from which the rays should originate. The advantage of Rays is that it can smartly detect if there is an object in front of the point and thus not allow the rays to pass through. With this, shadows are cast artificially, which has an effective effect on the eye.

For rays, you can set their length or a threshold value, i.e. a value that determines whether the rays should pass through the object or not. Furthermore, it is possible to adjust the brightness and thereby determine how prominent the rays should be in relation to the original photo. Of course, there is also a choice of beam color. Finally, the application allows you to set the transparency of the rays and the original photo.

And with that, we are pretty quickly done with the description of the Rays application functions. The last goodies are the ability to display the original image without editing and hide the controls to display the entire photo. Personally, I'm glad for such a straightforward direction of the application, there are dozens of photo editors with an abundance of options.

If you're interested in Rays, there's nothing easier than diving into the App Store. For twenty crowns, this is a good investment that you will not regret. The only thing you might not like is the look of the app. It really isn't impressive, but given the functionality and low price, this shortcoming can be forgiven.
