In earlier times, radio was practically the only current medium along with television, and therefore many more people considered it as a source of entertainment and information in their free time. However, times have changed and people prefer to read the news they want to know on the Internet. Even on the radio, however, it is possible to find attractive content for your ears, and thanks to modern applications, it can also be personalized for you in a certain way. Today's selection of programs will be suitable for exactly those users who still cannot tolerate classical radio broadcasts.
TuneIn Radio
This program is probably the most powerful radio listening tool you can find in the App Store. Not only can you play the vast majority of Czech and international stations here, but depending on your mood, you can only start news, sports, music or podcasts on a selected topic. There is also the option to set a sleep mode, so you can be sure that the radio will not play all night. Apple watches were also not forgotten - TuneIn Radio is also available for them. The premium version of the app removes ads, unlocks access to CNBC, CNN, FOX News Radio, MSNBC and Bloomberg Media and adds some other benefits.

Radio.cz
Compared to all the software mentioned above, the Radia.cz program stands out with its minimalistic interface and simplicity. It works reliably, apart from playing radio stations, of which there are only 90 in the application, the ability to find out what was broadcast on a particular radio station an hour ago and adding stations to favorites, other interesting functions are missing here. However, if you are a lover of inexpensive but intuitive software, and you only expect basic listening, Radia.cz will suit you.
I think that such an article should have mentioned in the first place that the radio can be listened to in the native Music application. I've tried the apps mentioned here before, I still have some of them and I could recommend others, but in the end I still only listen to the radio in the Music app. Although this Apple application falters the most in this area, it still works perfectly usable - otherwise I wouldn't use it, I'd go for something else. I usually listen to Europe 2, CR1 Radiožurnál, Impulse, Krokodyl on my iPhone, while I was in the hospital I spent a lot of time with Radio Humor, etc.
I had the UK Radios app where I listened to the BBC. I also bought the PRO version to avoid annoying ads. Unfortunately, it stopped working a few days back. Tried another UK Radio app and nothing either. They say I should contact Apple. And now I found it works in the Music app. This Apple policy really bothers me...
