By providing official support for Plex in QNAP's 64-bit ARMv8 NAS models, users of these devices (especially multimedia-focused TS 128, TS 228TS-328) to use a universal entertainment portal along with complete file storage and multimedia applications. With the Plex Media Server app (available on the QTS App Center), setting up the QNAP NAS as a Plex Media Server is easy and allows users to stream media files from the NAS to DLNA-compatible mobile devices and TV using common streaming devices (such as Roku, Apple TV, Google Chromecast and Amazon Fire TV).
