Apple picker Press Release: QNAP® Systems, Inc., a leading innovator in computing, networking and storage solutions, today introduced a 3-bay RAID 5 2,5GbE device TS-364 NAS with M.2 PCIe Gen3 NVMe SSD slots and 2,5GbE connectivity. The device provides optimized performance in home and office environments. Supporting lightweight virtualization/containers and HDMI output, the TS-364 offers a centralized storage, backup, file sharing and multimedia solution with rich NAS applications for increased productivity and unlimited entertainment.
“The new TS-364 NAS allows you to create a secure RAID 5 array with three drives to optimize storage capacity, cache performance and protection against single drive failure. With M.2 PCIe Gen3 slots, the TS-364 enables cache acceleration or storage volumes from SSD for better performance or Edge TPU for AI-based image recognition. A 2,5GbE port speeds up network transfer, and USB 3.2 Gen2 (10 Gb/s) ports enable fast transfer of large multimedia files.
The TS-364 is equipped with an Intel® Celeron® N5105/ N5095 quad-core quad-thread processor (up to 2,9 GHz) with an Intel® AES-NI encryption module and 4GB of DDR4 memory. TS-364 supports cache acceleration or Qtier to increase performance, or Edge TPU for image recognition using artificial intelligence. The TS-364 has one 2,5GbE port to support next-generation networks, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) port, and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) ports to ensure faster data transfer to portable devices. The storage capacity of the TS-364 can be expanded by connecting the TL and TR storage expansion units.
The TS-364 is equipped with the latest QTS 5.0 operating system and includes rich NAS applications for home and business: Queue Station simplifies NAS file access, sharing and management through a web browser; Hybrid Backup Sync allows you to easily back up files from your NAS to the cloud or another NAS to meet your 3-2-1 backup strategy; Virtualization Station and Container Station enable lightweight virtualization applications; QVR Elitehelps implement a state-of-the-art intelligent surveillance system; and KoiMeter provides a complete cross-platform solution for video conferencing and wireless presentations. Home users will also appreciate a wide range of multimedia applications (including Plex®), streaming capabilities and a built-in HDMI port to enjoy multimedia on the device of their choice.
