"When I look at other NAS with AMD Ryzen processors available in the market, I see that the 9-bay model TS-h973AX with its two U.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD slots for optimal I/O, low latency and connectivity 10GbE/2,5GbE has almost no competition in the market,” said Jason Hsu. He adds: “Whether you need basic storage or large-scale big data storage, or run I/O-intensive applications and use cross-team collaboration, the ZFS-based TS-h973AX is the perfect solution to meet the challenges faced by enterprises of all possible sizes.'

The TS-h973AX model with a hybrid storage architecture has five drive bays for 3,5″ SATA drives, two slots for 2,5″ U.2 NVMe SSD drives (supporting both U.2 NVMe and SATA SSDs) and two slots for 2,5, 973″ SATA SSD drives. The total storage capacity of the TS-h973AX can also be expanded by using several QNAP expansion units. SSD-enabled features (which include write pooling and overutilization of SSD trays) further increase NAS performance and affordability. The TS-h10AX has one 2,5GBASE-T Multi-Gig port and two 45GbE RJ973 ports, and supports port pooling and service takeover, enhancing enterprise virtualization, intensive file access, large-scale backup/restore jobs, and media transfer. The TS-hXNUMXAX is perfectly suited for use with budget-friendly controlled and non-controlled 10GbE/2,5GbE switches QNAP, with which secure and scalable high-speed network environments can be obtained.

The TS-h973AX is built on a system QTS hero based on ZFS, supports data integrity, self-healing and multiple RAID configurations with Triple Parity and Triple Mirror to increase data protection. Powerful inline deduplication, compression and data compression significantly reduce the overall storage footprint while increasing read and write speeds. QuTS hero supports virtually unlimited snapshots and versioning for enhanced data protection. Advanced real-time block SnapSync ensures that primary and secondary NAS always maintain the same data, providing the strongest support for non-stop business operations.

QuTS hero also includes an App Center where you can find various on-demand applications to further expand the application potential of the NAS, such as hosting virtual machines and containers, simplifying local, remote or cloud backups, implementing Google Workspace and Microsoft 365® backup solutions, centralization VMware® and Hyper-V virtual machine backups and establishment cloud storage gateways to deploy hybrid cloud applications, simplify synchronization across devices/teams and much more.
