The TS-x53E series features an Intel® Celeron® J6412 quad-core processor (up to 2,6GHz) and will be available and supported by QNAP for an extended period (until 2029). The TS-x53E series is ideal for managed service providers, system integrators, and other IT businesses that require consistent NAS models for long-term projects.

The TS-x53E series offers 8GB of RAM, dual 2,5GbE connectivity and two PCIe M.2 2280 slots to power file and backup servers and other essential applications. Thanks to two HDMI outputs, the device can also be used for robust monitoring for surveillance and direct multimedia playback. With the ability to aggregate 2,5GbE ports, businesses can benefit from up to 5Gbps bandwidth for higher performance and serving more users. Users can install NVMe SSDs in PCIe M.2 slots and enable SSD cache to increase overall NAS performance or Qtier™, QNAP's auto-tiering technology that helps optimize storage efficiency continuously.

The new TS-x53E series comes with the latest version of the QTS operating system, which features rich NAS applications for businesses while ensuring data security on the NAS: Snapshots serves to protect the NAS against ransomware; myQNAPcloud offers users a secure connection to the NAS over the Internet; Hybrid Backup Sync is used to easily back up files on a NAS to the cloud or to a remote/local NAS to fulfill the 3-2-1 backup strategy; QVR Elite enables users to build a surveillance system with lower TCO and higher scalability.
