The TS-130 uses a Realtek RTD1295 1,4GHz quad-core processor with built-in 1GB DDR4 RAM to run a variety of personal and home NAS applications. A Gigabit Ethernet port and SATA 6 Gb/s drive support provide exceptional performance for home use, while AES-256 encryption support allows users to secure their data without affecting system performance. With an energy-saving processor and intelligent cooling, the TS-130 provides reliable performance without annoying noises or unexpected utility bills. The TS-130 uses QNAP's application-based intelligent QTS operating system, which provides comprehensive file storage, sharing, backup, synchronization and data protection. Users can regularly back up data from Windows® or macOS® devices to the TS-130 for centralized file management and sharing while using the app Hybrid Backup Sync to back up data from NAS to the cloud. The ability to create multiple versions of snapshots is key to protecting data from ransomware and quickly restoring data to previously recorded states. Other features include Qsync for synchronizing files between different devices (for example, NAS, mobile devices, computers) and accompanying mobile applications that allow remote NAS access to increase productivity at work and at home.
