Press Release: QNAP® Systems, Inc., a leading innovator in computing, networking and storage solutions, today introduced the TS-x2,5P31 Series 3GbE NAS device with a quad-core 1,7GHz processor. Advice TS-x31P3 it is available in two-position and four-position models and provides smooth multimedia playback, supports snapshot backup and HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync) for local, remote and cloud backup. The TS-x31P3 series is recommended for home and office users who want to use 2,5GbE networks to accelerate daily use and disaster recovery.

With 1GbE and 2,5GbE ports, the TS-x31P3 series allows users to easily implement high-speed networks. In order to achieve faster backup and smoother media streaming, existing CAT31e/CAT3 cables can be used to connect the TS-x2,5P5 series to a 6GbE switch. Three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports allow users to connect various peripherals and devices – including expansion units to flexibly expand the TS-x31P3's storage capacity. The TS-x31P3 series comes standard with 2GB or 4GB of RAM and supports up to 8GB of RAM.

The Notification Center app on the TS-x31P3 consolidates all QTS system events and alerts to provide users with a one-app notification solution. Security Counselor evaluates and recommends device security settings to improve NAS security. HBS allows users to back up data on a NAS device to another NAS device or cloud storage to keep one copy off-site and ensure greater data security. Snapshots are also supported to help users mitigate the threat of ransomware and accidental file deletion/modification.

The built-in application center, App Center in QTS, provides a wide range of productivity-enhancing applications: Surveillance Station allows you to create a secure surveillance system; Qsync automatically syncs files between NAS, mobile devices and computers; Container Station enables direct hosting of LXC and Docker® applications; QmailAgent centralizes the management of multiple email accounts; Notes Station 3 allows you to create notes together; Qfiling automates file organization; and Qsirch allows users to quickly search for files. Users can also download accompanying mobile apps to remotely access their NAS device to increase work efficiency.
