Apple picker Press Release: QNAP introduced TS-453BT3, a 4-bay NAS device that combines high-speed Thunderbolt 3 connectivity with a pre-installed QM2 PCIe card and offers two dual M.2 SATA SSD slots with 10GbE connectivity. In addition to an elegant OLED display and 4K HDMI output, the TS-453BT3 provides SMBs, workgroups and media professionals with a powerful storage solution with many features.
The TS-453BT3 is powered by an Intel Celeron J3455 quad-core processor, 1,5GHz (boostable up to 2,3GHz), with dual-channel 8GB DDR3L RAM. The pre-installed QM2 card provides SSD cache and 10GbE connectivity, providing read speeds of up to 683MB/s. The TS-453BT3 also includes a free remote control RM-IR004, which in conjunction with the application QButton can provide one-touch control of daily operations.

The TS-453BT3 features two Thunderbolt 3 ports that enable read speeds of up to 514MB/s and is an ideal collaborative 4K media editing platform for both Mac and Windows users, allowing easy sharing of large media files to improve productivity. The TS-453BT3 also provides a unique Thunderbolt-to-Ethernet (T2E) converter that allows computers without Ethernet ports (such as the MacBook Pro) to access resources on 10GbE networks via a Thunderbolt connection. The TS-453BT3 supports block snapshots, making it easy for users to backup and restore the NAS to its previous state in the event of an unexpected NAS failure or ransomware attack.

Equipped with the latest QTS 453 operating system, the TS-3BT4.3 offers a wide range of applications from the integrated App Center: "Qsirch" provides full-text search for quick file searches; "IFTTT Agent" and "Qfiling" enable user workflows to be automated for improved efficiency and productivity; "Qsync" and "Hybrid Backup Sync" simplify file sharing and synchronization across different devices; "QmailAgent" and "Qcontactz" make it easier to manage multiple email accounts and contact information.
