QNAP launches Qmiix, a cross-platform automation solution for digital transformation

QNAP presents Qmiix, a new breakthrough automation solution. Qmiix is an integration platform as a service (iPaaS) that helps users automate workflows that require interactions between different applications on a variety of platforms. Qmiix enables users to efficiently create cross-platform automated workflows for repetitive tasks.

"Communication and interaction between different digital systems is very important in digital transformation," Aseem Manmualiya, Product Manager at QNAP, stated, adding: “QNAP's vision for Qmiix is that it can serve as a bridge to connect different applications. Once users connect apps or software to Qmiix, they can easily create efficient workflows to automate repetitive tasks and increase productivity.”

Qmiix currently supports connecting to cloud storage services such as Google Drive, Dropbox and OneDrive, but also private storage applications on QNAP NAS devices such as File Station. Users can easily create and manage workflows to transfer files from one storage to another through a web browser or Android and iOS apps. Additionally, Qmiix supports messaging apps such as Slack, Line, and Twilio, so users can receive notifications about files sent to shared folders on NAS devices. Qmiix Agent for QNAP NAS was also launched today. Qmiix Agent acts as a bridge between Qmiix and QNAP NAS devices and will soon be available for download from the QTS App Center.

QNAP invites everyone to join this digital transformation with today's Qmiix beta release. The beta version of Qmiix will be available on the web and on the Android and iOS platforms. Early adopters of the beta will be able to try premium features for free.

Qmiix's user feedback program is also ongoing to further improve the app and ensure a more comprehensive and secure user experience. Users with the most practical feedback will receive a free TS-328.
