If you do even a little bit of gaming on any of Apple's platforms, you've most likely already signed up with a company called Feral Interactive. If not, at least in recent weeks, quite a lot has been written about it, in connection with the upcoming port Rise of The Tomb Rider: Definitive Edition and the latest effort from the Total War series with the subtitle Thrones of Britannia. Yesterday, a news appeared on the web, in which the brands Feral Interactive and Total War play the main role again, in this case, the news will make all the fans happy - the original Rome Total War is coming to the iPhone!

Turn-based strategy Rome Total War is undoubtedly a cult affair. The developers managed to release an exceptional work almost 15 years ago, which received both huge interest from the players and a lot of post-release support from the developers. The data discs that came out over the years further embellished the entire game and for a long time it was an absolute must-have for every fan of (turn-based) strategies. In the fall of 2016, Feral Interactive made sure that this gem was released on iPads, and fans of the series have had more than a year and a half to satisfy their strategic appetites on these devices. Now it's the turn of the smaller devices with the iOS operating system.

Although it was a nice chore according to the developers, Rome Total War for iPhone is basically finished. The bad news is that we won't be seeing a release in the coming weeks. The good thing is that we can at least watch the trailer. The developers argue that even Rome was not built in a day and that the game still needs some time to mature before it is released on iPhones. However, fans of the genre will be happy to wait for a certain Friday. The idea that such a complex strategy that we played more than ten years ago on PC (and a few years later on Mac) will now be playable on the tram on your iPhone. I personally can't wait!
