Apple really took its time with the MacBook Air upgrade. However, at a keynote in New York on Tuesday, he showed off an upgraded version of his cheapest laptop. The new MacBook Air brings not only the much-coveted Retina display, but also a butterfly keyboard with Touch ID, a better trackpad, a more modern design, more powerful hardware, new connector equipment and two more color variants. Sales of the new product start next week on Wednesday, but we can already watch the first unboxing videos.

In recent years, it has been Apple's custom to preferentially offer new products for testing to lesser-known YouTubers, and this is no different in the case of the reincarnated Air. This time, luck smiled on a few creators directly from New York who, in addition to a new computer, also received an invitation from the Californian giant to Tuesday's Apple Special Event. Thanks to this, they were able not only to try out all the products just presented immediately after the keynote together with journalists from the world's largest media, but most importantly they took home a piece of MacBook Air in the new Gold design.

Undoubtedly, the highest quality video was published by a YouTuber appearing on the channel TechMe0ut. In its unboxing, we can see both the gold MacBook Air and the complete contents of the package, which includes a 30W USB-C adapter, a two-meter USB-C charging cable, a new-style manual and finally a pair of Apple stickers that match the color of the computer chassis. The author of the video praised the computer's light weight, smaller dimensions, louder speakers, Retina display and larger trackpad.

The MacBook Air (2018) goes on sale on Wednesday, November 7, when it will also be available on the counters of Czech retailers. It is currently possible to pre-order the notebook, not only on Apple's website, but also at authorized Czech retailers such as Alza.cz or iWant. The price for the basic model (128GB SSD, 8GB RAM, 1,6GHz dual-core Core i5) starts at 35 crowns.
