In this regular column, every day we look at the most interesting news that revolves around the California company Apple. Here we focus exclusively on the main events and selected (interesting) speculations. Apple pulled a Chrome add-on that made it possible to work with passwords on both iCloud and Windows

In yesterday's summary, we informed you about very interesting news. The Californian giant released an iCloud update labeled 12, which was available through the Microsoft Store. At the same time, we received an interesting add-on for the most used Chrome browser. The latter was able to work with passwords from Keychain on iCloud, thanks to which users who switch between Macs and PCs could seamlessly use their passwords and even save new ones from Windows.

But today everything changed. Apple pulled the aforementioned twelfth version of iCloud from the Microsoft Store, which also caused the disappearance of that interesting add-on facilitating work with passwords. Users can now only download iCloud version 11.6.32.0 from the store. It is definitely interesting that the description still mentions the possibility of working with passwords from iCloud. Moreover, in the current situation, it is not clear why the Cupertino company decided to take this step. According to the reports of the users themselves, it could be a general malfunction, where problems appeared especially in the case of two-factor authentication, which often resulted in a completely non-functional website.

The first Apple Car will use the special E-GMP electric vehicle platform

For several years there has been talk of the so-called Project Titan, or the arrival of the Apple Car. Although this information was relatively leaked in the last year, luckily the tables have turned in recent months and we are practically constantly learning something new. Through our summary, we already informed you in the past about a potential partnership between Apple and Hyundai, who could join forces to create the first Apple Car. Today we got some more hot news, which also comes directly from a renowned analyst named Ming-Chi Kuo, whose predictions are usually true sooner or later.

An earlier Apple Car concept (iDropNews):

According to his latest information, it certainly does not end with the first model from Apple & Hyundai. For other models, there is a partnership with the American international corporation General Motors and the European manufacturer PSA. The first Apple electric car should use the special E-GMP electric car platform, with which Hyundai entered the so-called electric era. This car platform uses two electric motors, a five-link rear suspension, an integrated drive axle and battery cells that provide a range of over 500 km on a full charge and can be charged to 80% in 18 minutes with high-speed charging.

Thanks to this, the electric car should be able to go from 0 to 100 in less than 3,5 seconds, while the maximum speed could be around 260 kilometers per hour. According to Hyundai's plans, 2025 million units should be sold worldwide by 1. In addition, the mentioned car company should have the main say in the field of design and production of various components, and at the same time it will take care of the subsequent production for the North American market. But Kuo pointed out that the launch of sales in 2025 could encounter various problems caused by the current situation. Supply chains are already busy in themselves. And who will the vehicle actually be intended for? Allegedly, Apple is trying to create a high-end electric car, or rather a car that greatly exceeds today's standard electric cars.
