An interesting title called Underworlds by Pixel Mine Games has appeared on the Appstore. Underworlds offers an action RPG in the style of the well-known PC game Diablo, where you walk through dungeons and beat one enemy after another. The iPhone game Underworlds is played from an isometric view just like Diablo.
You can choose from four characters that differ in their statistics. These are strength, agility, intelligence and durability. There are also special abilities that you call up during a fight, for example - these are Slash, Shield Bash, Berserk, Health Boost and Vitality Boost. You gain experience as you progress through dungeons and mow down enemies.
This puts me in control. You can control the character, for example, using the arrow and the Action and Loot buttons. Loot is for collecting items and Action is for fighting. You can also control your character by clicking on the space where you want your character to go, and you can collect items by simply clicking on them. Special abilities are called at the bottom of the screen.
Two skulls on the edges of the screen serve as indicators of health and vitality, which are also used when using potions to replenish health during a fight. Killed enemies drop gold and items that you can sell in the shop and use them to buy, for example, other equipment. The game also has a story, where you gradually complete Quests by going through the dungeon.
In terms of graphics, the game has nothing to complain about. Graphics were handled by Denis Loubet, who was the main artist of the game Ultima (certainly familiar to older PC gamers). Let everyone judge the sounds for themselves from the video, but someone will definitely miss the background music. Underworlds looks interesting, and it's not a bad attempt to bring Diablo to the iPhone at all. Sometimes, however, you will struggle a bit with the controls, which in my opinion did not go so well, as for example with the iDracula game. The price of €3,99 is not the highest and promises quite good fun for several hours.

And are there quests in the game, or is it just a Hero of Sparta type cutter?
It's very nice. They should really click on the directional cross until the next update. Total suffering in places. But otherwise a great game. I wonder how many hours it will take to finish.
I finished the game in 2 hours and 24 minutes, which is unfortunately not enough, plus the character cannot be developed higher than lvl10. The quest mostly takes place in the style of Sparta. You go, someone says something, you go straight, you kill everything, you park the puck and the quest ends. I'm very sorry, because after a long time it was a game on the Appstore again that wasn't completely pointlessly stupid. Otherwise, when controlling it, I often felt that I accidentally drank stamina or health. It's a shame that they degraded this game with the lousy gameplay, I definitely don't recommend buying it.
I would like Dungeon Siege in the iPhone version. As simple as that. :-P
everything that eL listed is true.. born from it, I would still recommend the game, because it was one of the most interesting games on the iPhone.. (even if rather short and with worse controls - but nothing that could not be tasted)
