We could see Elder Scrolls Blades for the first time at the Keynote together with the launch of the iPhone XS, where the developers demonstrated the capabilities of the A12 Bionic processor. Some time has passed since then and we are getting our hands on a closed beta version.

You will immediately notice the graphic processing at the first launch. This is simply really breathtaking, especially by the standards of mobile platforms. Of course, on the other hand, I will boldly add in one breath that it is still a long way from the experience of a powerful desktop computer with a 4K monitor.

Elder Scrolls Blades faithful to the original

The developers draw a lot from the entire world of the universe, so if you've played any of the Elder Scrolls games, you'll be like a fish to water. After you recover from the opening animation, there will be a moment when your avatar is born. As usual, you choose your gender and race. Then you can literally bribe the character in your own image, although the possibilities are of course more limited.

Once you're satisfied, you fire up your first weapon, raise your shield, and brave the adventure. At first it may seem that you are simply tapping the display, but don't be mistaken. The good old virtual joysticks still work.

You walk a bit and you immediately come across a group of bandits. You will catch him at the moment of the crime. All that remains is to take justice into your own hands. The combat, although simplified, still contains enough interactivity. Those who have played titles such as Infinity Blade will have the situation simplified.
During the skirmish you use strong and weak strikes. You also block your opponent's blows, and over time spells will also be added. It depends in which direction you intend to profile your character. Defeated bandits flee and you enter a city that is in a state of chaos.

You heroically accept another quest from a local resident. The dungeon will need to be cleared of goblins. Along the way, the collected raw materials will also come in handy, for which you will slowly and surely restore the city to its original glory. On your way to the heart of the dark dungeons, you'll also pick up the first treasure chest.

I'll give my life for games

It didn't take long for me to realize what the Elder Scrolls Blades model might be. Will it be another free to play title that subtly asks you for some money?

The mentioned chests are found in several categories. Open the wooden ones right away, but their contents are weaker. On the contrary, the iron ones contain the real treasure, but it takes three hours to conquer the castle. Or 36 gems. Don't you have gems? No problem, just visit the store and buy them with money!
However, there was no need for it yet. After completing the task, the heroine returns to the city. He will help in the construction of the town hall and the residents will supply it with other requirements.

All in all, it is still too early to evaluate the game, so we will leave out comments on the overall processing or the impact of playing on the battery. After all, it is a closed test that is by invitation. After all, you can request one of these from the developers directly on the website Bethesda.
