Archive.org is literally a repository of almost everything that has ever appeared on the world wide web. Here you will find the backed-up website of Apple, news servers, but also your own discussions that you engaged in ten years ago on Lidé.cz. Another treasure from the world of technology has recently been added to the archive.

Amateur computer historian Kevin Savetz recently scanned the Fall 1989 edition of NeXT's catalog. All 138 pages of NeXT's software, user interface, peripherals, and other products are available in the archive. Steve Jobs founded NeXT in 1985, shortly after leaving his home Apple. The company specialized in high-performance workstations designed especially for businesses and educational institutions. In 1997, NeXT and Jobs were bought by Apple, for which a new, better era began.

Kevin Savetz said on his Twitter account that he uploaded the catalog at 600 DPI to the Internet Archive. According to his own words, he acquired the catalog as part of a larger number of old computers that he himself bought from a local organization specializing in recycling and refurbishing older computer technology. "I've never seen a catalog like this and couldn't find any references to it online, so scanning it was the obvious choice." Savetz stated.

NeXT sold an estimated 50 computers, but after Apple bought it, it successfully benefited from the legacy of the NeXTSTEP operating system, as well as from its development environment.
