Apple has already updated the Apple.com site, so you can view the iPad on video now in high quality.
You can find the video on the website apple.com/iPad/. What do you say about the iPad? What do you like? What disappointed you?
The missing multitasking is certainly not pleasing, as is the missing webcam, and above all it was not shown whether push notifications will work differently, but I am skeptical about this. And anyway, will there be push notifications on the iPad at all? We will find out in the next few hours.
stamina, price OK - but I don't understand the missing multi-task at all. At least two applications - side by side.

I admit, I also expected more (I mean from the entire keynote), just because of the hype around it, but we must not forget that the iPad is at the beginning and Apple certainly has BIG plans for it
I think it's similar to the launch of the first iPhone, it could have had a lot of things, but it didn't, the shift started with 3G, 3GS and we'll see what 4G (if it's called) will come with
it's a beautiful piece of HW, but I'll wait :)

Hello. I'm a bit disappointed. Some renderings of the "what the tablet could look like" design were better. I also think they shouldn't have left an identical iPhone experience. On the iPhone, the use of space is ideal, on the tablet they could have put more icons, standby screen.... At least I hope that the icons can be placed closer to each other and more of them can be placed below. I am also surprised by the absence of a camera, a camera, an old OS (it really needs multitasking + about 10 other things – mass storage, etc.). I guess the expectations were too high. The iPod Touch definitely rang the bell, though.
I don't see years of development behind it. Rather, it seems to me as if six months ago they had said that people were waiting for a tablet, so they should do something about it. Or it is an intention and they have already thought of 3 generations ahead, which they will gradually add.

A very big disappointment. The whole world was waiting for something amazing it had never seen before and now we have an oversized iPod touch. This made Apple fall a little short for me.

me the video on apple.com it doesn't work….with all 5 of my browsers, QuickTime crashed and crashed the whole browser…does anyone know how??
Anyway, as I once wrote on another server "So that it won't be a disappointment..." and here it is :-(...although it's still not big, I wasn't very excited about it (at least not yet)

Thanks a lot :-)
it does the exact same thing to me, I also reinstalled quicktime. I'll try it at home on a Mac, but it definitely doesn't work on Win

I don't understand comments like "disappointment" !!! if it has already disappointed someone and apple has fallen so madly, attach a link to a similar or better device on the market. At the keynote, Steve clearly showed what category the iPad is and the intention of how to use it. If there is something I can compare with, please write it here. Thanks

You can't evaluate Apple with the competition, and that's why I'm its user, but I'm still disappointed. The reason is that Apple showed us how to use the device, but at the same time it also knows what users are missing. There is no point in detailing why, because I somehow suspect that it is a business move. Based on the fact that there was no mention of the OS4 iPhone, and based on the fact that the iPAD has practically the same system, I conclude that a big firmware update will come in the second wave, which will bring the device to the finals together with the iPhone.
