Last week I you reported on Apple's new program, which, due to recent issues with non-genuine chargers for iOS devices, has decided to offer customers the option of exchanging them for genuine pieces. However, the offer can only be used by customers in selected countries...

When Apple on its website “USB Power Adapter Takeback Program" revealed, it only contained an offer for the American and Chinese markets. In China, customers could get an original charger from August 9, in the United States the program starts on August 16, and now Apple has also added other countries in which non-original USB chargers can be exchanged or receive a discount for original ones.

In addition to the United States and China, Apple will replace chargers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Japan. In all countries, customers will be entitled to a discount of approximately 200 to 300 crowns (depending on the currency) in order to purchase a non-original charger for iPhones and iPads, against which Apple has already warned, bought an original product with a bitten apple logo, which the Californian company guarantees safety.

As expected, the program does not reach the Czech Republic. It is not excluded that Apple will add a country in the coming days, but looking at the current list, it is clear that these are countries from the so-called first category, to which the Czech Republic does not yet belong.
