After a surprising twist in the casting of the lead role in the upcoming film about Steve Jobs, which he refused Christian Bale, the producers began to negotiate with Michael Fassbender. It is he who could eventually play the main role of the co-founder of Apple in the film directed by Danny Boyle.

Negotiations with Sony, the film's producer, are ongoing, according to the magazine Variety in the early stages, but as the film is set to start shooting this winter, it needs to be done quickly. In addition, Danny Boyle is in Hollywood this week in talks with potential actors.

After being turned down by Leonardo DiCaprio and finally by Christian Bale, who was also screenwriter Aaron Sorkin convinced, that he would take the role, producers Scott Rudin, Mark Gordon and Guymon Casady turned their attention to Michael Fassbender. Viewers may know this from the X-Men film series or the films 12 Years in Chains, Jana Eyrová or Stud.

Sony representatives continue to discuss the role of Steve Wozniak Seth Rogen. The film, which still does not have an official title, will offer, as screenwriter Sorkin has already revealed, three long scenes taking place in the background of large presentations. We will see the introduction of the Mac, the situation of Jobs after leaving Apple, i.e. in NeXT, and the introduction of the iPod.
