New pre-orders this year iPhone 6S and 6S Plus they started a little later than a year ago (not on Friday, but on Saturday), and Apple decided not to share exact numbers (at least not yet) like it did with last year's models. In the end, he said that last year's numbers may be surpassed this year.

"User response to the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus has been extremely positive and pre-orders have been very strong worldwide over the weekend," introduced California company in a statement for CNBC. "We're on pace to surpass last year's 10 million phones sold in the first weekend."

Last year, Apple announced the status 24 hours after the launch of pre-orders (4 million iPhones 6) and subsequently only shared the numbers after the first sales weekend. That's when there were just those 10 million mentioned. This year, the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus go on sale on September 25.

Compared to last year, among the selected countries is also China, which will surely bring a big number in the first weekend. As part of the pre-orders, practically all models and variants of the new iPhones were sold out, but Apple promises that it will have enough phones in brick-and-mortar stores for the start of sales.

For example, in Germany, where it is closest to Czech customers, some models (for example, the 16GB iPhone 6S in selected colors) are still available for reservation on September 25 and subsequent collection at the store. It seems that there was slightly more interest in the larger iPhone 6S Plus, or that Apple also had an insufficient number of them ready to begin with. Anyway, they report temporarily sold out for most in most countries.

It is not yet clear when the latest Apple phones will arrive in the Czech Republic.
