There is already a good number of educational applications focused on language learning in the App Store, and there is definitely a lot to choose from. On the contrary, there are not so many language applications that come from Czech meadows and groves. However, one of them is Only4 – English Lessons, which is the responsibility of the language school of the same name from Zlín, which has been using these drills in teaching since 1997.
The application itself offers more than 80 sets of drills, each aimed at actively mastering a different piece of grammar. There are 22 sentences in each drill, which will allow you to understand and learn to use part of the grammar very quickly (e.g. the present simple tense) and at the same time a thematic range of vocabulary and phrases (e.g. Travel). When you click on the first sentence, you will first see it in the Czech language and your task is of course to translate it into English.
With another click, you can check it and hear a native speaker, after which you repeat the sentence until you achieve not only perfect pronunciation, but also speed. You mark problematic sentences with an asterisk and practice them over and over again until you've mastered them.
Only4 – English Lessons is a free download in the App Store, but only one drill is freely available, allowing you to try the app. The big advantage is that you don't have to spend unnecessarily for the whole course, but you can only buy drills that are focused on grammar or topics that are currently giving you trouble. You can buy each additional drill for 0,99 euros. You can find a list of drills and an example sentence on the website ONLY4DRIL.CZ.
At the ONLY4 Language School, they obviously focus on simplicity and, thanks to regular and effective drills, they want to achieve grammatically correct English communication with perfect pronunciation. This method may not suit everyone, but with ONLY4 it is mainly about storing formulas and pronunciation in memory and complete automation, which you can then use for fast communication without having to think about grammar rules.
The application is easy to use and is completely in Czech. The application will be appreciated not only by students coming directly to ONLY4, but by all those who need to learn to actively use grammar and vocabulary, which they are currently discussing in their schools or during self-study. The app is also very effective in eliminating bad grammar and pronunciation habits. ONLY4 – English Lessons is compatible with all iOS devices.

So the complete app costs 80 euros :-D? They're kidding, aren't they :-D? That's not even what Oxford University Press charges for their learning apps.
