Adam Kos Since the 80s of the last century, Apple has been organizing the so-called Worldwide Developer Conference, i.e. the company's annual conference intended primarily for developers. Although originally a gathering of Macintosh developers, the event has now taken on a more comprehensive form. Here, Apple primarily presents the form of new operating systems. Here, the company presents its strategy for the next year and shows news in the iOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS operating systems, new software and sometimes hardware. ATthe event gained such a reputation that already in 2013, all tickets for 30 crowns were sold within two minutes. In recent years, Apple has drawn lots among all applications from developers, which of them will be able to pay this amount at all and participate in the event.
The event usually takes place in June and Apple informs about its date well in advance, since 2017 always in February or March. This year is no different, even if we had to wait a day longer. However, even if we didn't know the date itself, which by the way is from June 7 to 11, it wouldn't really matter. Already last year, the entire event was a result of the pandemic coronavir virtual form. No tickets were sold, no personal meetings took place. This year's event will have the same form, so Apple actually had nowhere to rush.

Despite all the reports talking about March dates, Apple has yet to officially announce the event itself. In this case, however, he does not have to do so months in advance, here he usually informs only a week in advance. Even so, the question arises as to whether there will be any spring event for the company in the end.

The fact that WWDC is a truly successful format is also a sign of the inspiration of the competition, which has understood that there are significant advantages of a closer connection between developers and the company. That is why Google regularly organizes something similar with its Google IO and Microsoft with its Microsoft Build. But none of these events get as much attention as Apple's. For him, it is also the biggest event, because it sets the direction for all the devices that use the given operating systems.
