Next week, on Thursday, October 15, the Czech translation of the book will be published Becoming Steve Jobs by Brent Schlender and Rick Tetzeli, which will bear the title Steve Jobs: The Birth of a Visionary. The book is published by Grada Publishing and will cost 399 crowns.

Original Becoming Steve Jobs was released at the beginning of this year and received very positive reviews. The pair of journalists, Brent Schlender and Rick Tetzeli, looked at the life of Steve Jobs a little differently than he did in the authorized biography of the co-founder of Apple, Walter Isaacson, and even got to support from Apple, while Isaacson's work was condemned by Jobs' colleagues.

Grada to his latest title writes:

An engagingly written book that changes the established way of perceiving one of the most impressive personalities of modern history. He completely refutes the view of Steve Jobs as a man forever stuck between undeniable genius and unmanageable buffoonery. It offers an answer to a basic question about the life path and career of the co-founder and head of Apple: How could a reckless and arrogant young man, whom even the company he founded himself preferred to get rid of, eventually become the most successful corporate leader and visionary of today?

On a special page steve-jobs.cz, dedicated to the Czech translation of the book Steve Jobs: The Birth of a Visionary, you will find all the information including reviews, author profiles and short samples from the book.

The book goes on sale for 399 crowns next Thursday, however, you will be able to get several copies of the title from Monday Steve Jobs: The Birth of a Visionary compete at Jablíčkára. We will then announce the winner on Thursday, October 15.
