This month we saw a significant change. Apple showed us the very first Macs equipped with M1 chips from the Apple Silicon family. These machines offer their users significantly higher performance, better energy efficiency and a number of other benefits. Unfortunately, nothing is perfect. All kinds of complaints from the owners of these Macs themselves are starting to pile up on the Internet, complaining about Bluetooth problems. In addition, they manifest themselves in different ways, from an intermittent connection with wireless accessories to a completely non-functioning connection.

In addition, these problems affect owners of all new machines, i.e. MacBook Air, 13″ MacBook Pro and Mac mini. We already know that the type of accessory probably has no effect on the error. The problems affect owners of accessories from various manufacturers, as well as those who use exclusively Apple products - i.e. AirPods, Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard, for example. The Mac mini should be the worst. For this bit, of course, people rely on wireless connectivity a bit more to free up available ports. The story of one disabled user, who was exchanged piece for piece by the Californian giant, also appeared on the discussion forums. In addition, the error does not affect everyone. Some users have no problem connecting accessories.
At the moment, of course, no one knows whether this is a software or hardware error and how the situation will develop further. In addition, this is a rather fundamental problem, because the connection via Bluetooth is (not only) absolutely crucial for Apple computers. Apple has not yet responded to the whole situation.
We are expecting the arrival of redesigned MacBooks with Apple Silicon
We have officially known about the Apple Silicon project since June of this year, when Apple boasted about the transition to its own chips on the occasion of the developer conference WWDC 2020. Since then, a number of various reports have appeared on the Internet. They mainly discussed which Macs we will see first and what the following prospects are for the future. A fairly important source of this information is the well-respected analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. He has now made himself heard again and brought his forecast about how Apple will proceed with Macy and Apple Silicon.
According to his estimates, we should see the arrival of a new 16″ MacBook Pro next year. However, a relatively more interesting novelty is the expected 14″ MacBook Pro, which, following the example of the aforementioned larger sibling, will have smaller bezels, offer better sound and the like. After all, this redesign of the smaller "Proček" has been talked about since last year, and the given change is confirmed by several legitimate sources. These innovations should be presented in the second or third quarter of 2021. There is still quite a lot of talk about a redesigned 24″ iMac or a smaller version of the Mac Pro. At the moment, of course, these are only guesses and we will have to wait until next year for official information. Personally, I have to admit that I really like the idea of a 14″ MacBook Pro with an even better Apple Silicon chip. And what about you?

Christmas is fast approaching. Of course, Apple itself is also preparing for the holidays, which published a new advertisement today. In this one, we can make fun of a well-known rapper named Tierra Whack. The ad is labeled "The magic of the mini” (The magic of mini) and specifically shows how music can improve your mood. The main character looks rather bored at first, but her mood instantly changes for the better after she is charmed by the HomePod mini. I have absolutely no problem with the Mac mini with the M1 chip. I have a keyboard, trackpad, and often headphones connected via BT, everything works perfectly fine.
The headline "Macs with M1 report more problems" evokes in me the feeling that those problems were already a joke. If these are the "others", then who preceded this? I'm not aware of anything.

I have no problem with M1 in Air, on the other hand, iMAC with Intel has exactly the same problems with BT disconnection as described by the author of the article since installing BigSur.
