Show and hide completed reminders

Once you've completed a reminder, just tap on the dot next to it. Subsequently, the reminder is marked as completed and moved to the bottom of the list. By default, completed reminders are immediately hidden so they don't bother you. If until now you wanted to set the completed reminders to continue to be displayed, all you had to do was click on Display in the top bar and activate the corresponding option. However, in macOS Monterey, showing and hiding completed reminders is now much easier. Specifically, you just need to move to selected list and subsequently they drove upi.e. on the trackpad with your finger from top to bottom. After that, a line with the number of completed reminders will appear, where all you have to do is click the button Display or Hide.

Deleting completed comments

I mentioned on the previous page that completed comments are not automatically deleted, but instead just hidden. This means that you can view completed reminders at any time with a single tap. In the event that you would prefer to mass delete some completed reminders for some reason, you can now in macOS Monterey. You just need to move to specific list, where subsequently drive up i.e. on the trackpad with your finger from top to bottom. Then a line with the number of completed reminders will appear, where you just need to tap on Delete. Then choose which reminders you want to delete. Options are available older than a month or half a year, or absolutely all of them.

Brand

To organize individual comments, you can use lists into which they can be inserted individually. This means you can create things like a home list, a work list, and more. Thanks to this, you can be sure that your various reminders will not be mixed together and you will be able to sort them easily. In macOS Monterey, you can also use tags for organization, which work practically exactly the same as on social networks. This means that each tag under it groups together all the reminders that are provided with it. If you want to assign a tag to a reminder, just write in it cross, Tedy #, and then a fitting word for him. So, for example, if you want to have all the recipes after the purchase, you can use it #recipes. You can then view all comments with a specific tag by clicking on a section in the left sidebar Brands, and then tap on the selected brand.

Smart lists

On the previous page, I mentioned tags, a new option for organizing comments in the native Notes app. In macOS Monterey, it is also possible to create a smart list that can group together all the reminders that have the selected mark. However, you can also choose other options for filtering reminders in the smart list. If you want create a new smart list, so in the lower left corner of the Reminders app, tap the option Add list. Then in a new window tick possibility Convert to Smart List, making it appear other options, in which it is possible set criteria, including tags.
