JustWatch is a service that can mediate all titles from all streaming services within a single application. But at the same time, it also records detailed statistics about which streaming services users use and what they actually watch. It then processes all this data into clear graphs with valuable and interesting information. Currently, the platform has compiled a rather interesting analysis of the global market shares of streaming services and how the arrival of Apple TV+ and Disney+ affected the shares of the biggest players, namely Netflix and Prime Video.

The launch of the Disney+ and Apple TV+ networks in November 2019 resulted in an immediate drop in the market shares of the two biggest players in the industry, but their curve is relatively linear over time. However, as Disney+ continues to expand into new markets, its share naturally continues to grow. Numbers are collected from November 2019 to June 2021. Disney+ is of course particularly popular thanks to its production, which includes the world's biggest blockbusters and extensive franchises. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for the launch of the service here, as the company has included our republic in Eastern Europe. But the good news is that we will definitely see it, at the latest at the end of this year, when the service wants to be available worldwide.

However, it is quite interesting from the JustWatch chart that Apple TV+ is ahead of such a player as hulu. However, HBO Max, which only started in May 2020, is already slowly catching up to Apple's streaming service. The question is also what will happen to Apple TV+ when all those who had it for free with the purchase of the company's products start canceling the service.
