We will have to wait for the Apple Watch 6

At Apple, the presentation of new iPhones is already an annual tradition, which is associated with the autumn month of September. Along with the apple phone, the Apple Watch also goes hand in hand. They are usually presented on the same occasion. However, this year was disrupted by the global pandemic of the disease COVID-19, and until recently it was not clear how it would be with the introduction of new products. Last month, the well-known leaker Jon Prosser brought us more detailed information. According to him, the watch together with the iPad should be presented through a press release, in the second week of September, while the iPhone will be presented at a virtual conference in October. But currently, another leaker with the nickname L0vetodream made himself heard. He shared the information through a post on Twitter and says that we simply won't see the new Apple Watch this month (meaning September).

How it will turn out in the final is of course still unclear. Anyway, leaker L0vetodream has been accurate several times in the past and was able to accurately identify the date of the iPhone SE and iPad Pro, revealed the name macOS Big Sur, pointed out the hand washing feature in watchOS 7 and Scribble in iPadOS 14.

iPhone 11 is the best-selling phone in the first half of the year

In short, last year's iPhone 11 was successful for Apple. A relatively strong group of owners who are extremely satisfied with the phone speaks of its popularity. We just received a new survey from the company Om Day, which additionally confirms this statement. Omdia looked at the sales of smartphones for the first half of the year and brought very interesting data along with the numbers.

The first place was won by Apple with its iPhone 11. A total of 37,7 million units were sold, which is also 10,8 million more than last year's best-selling model, the iPhone XR. Behind the success of last year's model is undoubtedly its low price tag. The iPhone 11 is 1500 crowns cheaper compared to the XR variant, and it also offers first-class performance along with a number of other great gadgets. The second place was taken by Samsung with its Galaxy A51 model, namely 11,4 million units sold, and in third place was the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 phone with 11 million units sold.

As a result, a total of 224 applications have already been banned on the territory of the country this year, mainly for security reasons and concerns about China. The first wave came in June, when 59 programs were removed, led by TikTok and WeChat, and then another 47 applications were banned in July. According to the minister, the privacy of citizens must be taken care of, which is unfortunately threatened by these applications.
