Press Release: On the occasion of the release of QTS 4.4.1, leading NAS manufacturer QNAP has announced that all TS-x77 series NAS models with AMD Ryzen, developed through a strategic partnership with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), are now discounted 15% Users can purchase high-performance NAS storage at an affordable price and enjoy NAS capabilities through integration with the powerful QTS 4.4.1 system and the affordable NAS TS-x77 series.

The TS-x77 NAS series offers a hybrid design with disk bays (HDD + SSD) and allows users to create SSD cache or storage with automatic Qtier tiering for optimal storage performance. An innovative file-based storage gateway application CacheMount, new to QTS 4.4.1, allows users to connect public cloud storage to NAS storage. CacheMount also allows users to create cache space and turn NAS storage into a low-latency storage gateway between user computers and public cloud spaces. CacheMount supports multiple file sharing protocols including SMB, NFS, and AFP for connecting NAS to PC clients, allowing users to seamlessly access cloud files from PC through the NAS storage gateway.

The TS-x77 series NAS storage is equipped with a full range of PCIe slots for installation QM2 expansion cards, allowing users to expand M.2 SSDs and 10GbE RJ45 connections to achieve high-speed 10GbE connectivity and improve NAS data backup. Except brand new HBS 3 the backup tools in QTS 4.4.1 also feature QNAP's QuDedup deduplication technology, significantly reducing backup and restore times. With HBS 3, users can enjoy the benefits of faster backups.

The TS-x77 series is equipped with AMD Ryzen™ processors with up to 8 cores/16 threads and up to 64 GB of DDR 4 memory. Along with three PCIe expansion slots, the TS-x77 model supports a wide range of expansion cards to increase the potential of NAS usage. The robust hardware and rich applications of the QTS 4.4.1 system enable the TS-x77 series to fully satisfy various IT requirements.
