Thanks to the Waze app, you'll always know what's happening on the road. Even if you know the route, the title immediately tells you everything about traffic, roadworks, police patrols, accidents, etc. Then if there is a lot of traffic on your route, Waze will change it to save you time. In addition, new functions are constantly being added to the application, e.g. those for calming.
Headspace
Driving stress leads to many health problems, including back pain, depression and high blood pressure. To combat these and many other negative consequences of spending too much time behind the wheel, Waze has joined forces with Headspace. In the application, you can choose from five available moods - insightful, open, bright, hopeful, joyful, which are meant to help you avoid unnecessary nervousness.
But that's not all this update brings. You can now display a balloon instead of your car. This is most likely so that you can properly rise above a possible bleak traffic situation. Another novelty is the possibility to be navigated by an alternative voice.
Smarter routes
Since the summer, the application has offered a wealth of useful information such as alternative routes, traffic situations and real-time news. They will primarily help you choose the best route. This is even before you even get into the vehicle. The new preview will thus explain to you why the application plans exactly the route it shows you as recommended.
Security messages
Waze partners in cities around the world can leverage timely, relevant, and hyperlocal in-app user communications to promote road safety. These safety messages are displayed to drivers when they are more than 10 seconds away from their current location. Waze has also joined the World Health Organization in signing an open letter in support of new plans to push for safer speed-driving as part of its wider commitment to road safety.
It's kind of funny with that mood, isn't it? Sometimes I think I'm moving in the world of a moron...
Move somewhere in the forest
I already have a balloon in Waze navigation and I am satisfied that Waze is the best navigation for me.
That's not true at all, I've never seen such a navigation, they keep improving it. Absolute top for me.
Exactly!! It's a pretty solid navigation and I'd like nothing more than to keep it that way. This kind of crap tends to discourage me from using it.
Waze signed WHO letter to make traffic safer through speed enforcement?
What does WHO have to do with transport?
Maybe the best thing to do is to completely ban traffic, then the world will be the safest and there is no need for Waze.
Me, now I'm not sure if it's a Waze ad, or Waze nonsense. And I'm pretty close to Waze :D
I've been using google maps for years, the only benefit is reports of radars and police patrols, otherwise the quality of navigation is absolutely terrible compared to google maps
I would rather be able to set the size of the vehicle. Set more points and create a better route.
